My mom had developed a bed sore that would not heal due to the fact that she always irritated whenever she sat ( which is hard not to do)! A doctor had given her a ring and I bought more than I can count for her to try. Most were not flexible enough or too hard which made them uncomfortable.I thought I try this one because I did not want to give up but it was so much less than any of the others that I thought it may turn out to be a "toy" one. Figuratively!She tried it right away and said it was comfortable, she would forget she was even sitting on one.Her sore started to heal and within a week it was gone, It hjas not returned and she no longer has a sore to deal with.Our family is sold on this cushion!

I sit for several hours straight at work. This cushion works best for me when slightly under-inflated. It sits a little high but it does offer comfort and relief. I switch off between this and a gel cushion. The sizing information was not too clear, so I ordered the smaller one. Not sure if the larger one would have been better.5/15/2017 - Revised review - this cushion developed a leak and I don't know if it could have been repaired but the leak rendered the cushion useless and I threw it away. I ended up buying a molded foam cushion - not quite as comfortable but at least I know it will last. I am changing my review from a 4-star to a 1-star.

I use this all the time for various things. I am 30 weeks pregnant and ordered this hoping to use it under my painful hips when I sleep, but even deflated it was a bit too poofy. Instead I use it to sit on for tailbone relief and also as a back pillow and even a headrest pillow on my camping chair (that I sleep in also due to pregnancy hip pain). It was easy to blow up with the enclosed pump and the soft outer layer is nice. I'm sure I will be carrying this thing around for years, hopefully I never have to use it for hemorrhoids!

I recently had pelvic surgery and the doctor suggested I get a "donut". I am extremely happy with it. It is just the right size and the cover is smooth. It doesn't stick or catch on anything and it doesn't slide stays right where you put it. Great item and better price for something you may never need for more than a couple weeks, but good to have in the family storage box for "what if" and it is needed again.
