These shoes were even better than I expected! They do have a kind of flat appearance as far as material goes, I know some of the previous reviewers mentioned they were expecting a sort of imitation suede, but that is not the case. I am not sure exactly what the material is, but if you are looking at the matte black style, it is essentially just a matte fabric. However, that does not take away from the appearance at all; a close up is attached for reference. They are a perfect neutral shoe to pair with jeans, dresses, etc. I will warn any potential buyers that this is a relatively high heel, and while the platform does take away from that some, just from the short time I've worn them thus far it can put some uncomfortable pressure. I have trouble with heels kind of hurting my toes more than anything, it just makes the bones feel weird, and these heels do feel like they may cause that. If you do have any problems wearing heels, you may want to consider that. I personally do not feel bothered enough for it to deter me, so provided you feel the same I would highly recommend!**Update** Okay so I have been wearing these for a few weeks now, and I definitely do recommend. After a long day (12+) hrs in them sometimes I will have some achiness in the soles of my feet, but that is to be expected in my opinion. They are super easy to walk in, though they are pretty slick in the rain so be careful with that. But overall, they are effortless to wear, comfortable, and super easy to style as well.

I love these shoes so much! They look great and are super comfortable! I also love the sound they make when I walk. haha A completely silly thing to comment about, but whatever... I am typically a size 7 1/2 so that is what I ordered. They fit perfectly! I plan on getting the same shoe in a couple different colors.EDIT (2/9/2017)Please for the love of all that is holy in this world, be careful walking in these! The soles are very slippery! I just about broke my ankle at work today because of slipping and sliding (and lucky me, there were a bunch of witnesses). I'm really not clumsy, so I entirely blame my fall on the soles of the shoes. I still love these shoes... just be careful!

I love soda shoes. They are well made light and really cute. Unfortunately I cannot recommend them if you are in between sizes or have a wide foot. Most times I am a size 10 . Usually if a shoe has a high heel or runs a little more on the narrow side I can size up to a 10.5 or 11 and be just fine. The 10 was a smidge to tight and the 11 was HUGE! I wish they offered a 10.5 in this shoe because I would have definitely kept the shoe. Oh well....

These are honestly amazing. I can’t walk in heels for more than 10 minutes and I’ve been wearing there for quite a while now. Super comfortable. If you plan to get these I would spend the extra money and get the more expensive black pair. They are gorgeous. I’d say that they are pretty true to size. I usually wear an 8. Sometimes I wear a 7 1/2 but I would go with your usual size. I have a very wide foot and these fit wonderfully the laces really allow you to adjust it.

I freaking love these shoes! I find it kind of unfair to say these are okay only because I'm doing this according to my comfortability my feet is not flat nor is it narrow it's right in between so everybody's needs will be different but according to my fit it's okay but I know I can't wear these all day overall since I love them so much and receive so many compliments on them I am going to keep them definitely more than once maybe I need to break them in but overall I love these

I bought these shoes because they were less than $13 at the time. They are very cute and appear well made. The only issue for me, which was kind of major, was that the insoles are essentially a sticker placed over the nails and screws that hold the shoes together. Wearing these shoes for 1 hour caused 3 days of major pain in my right foot. However, spending another $8 on some Dr Scholls insoles has made them totally perfect. I would just recommend that if you are prone to foot, leg or back pain, you buy these along with a good pair of insoles, and you will love them.

These shoes will make you feel like your toes are falling asleep. They’re very cute but not comfy at all even with ankle socks. They’re not hard to walk on as long as you’re not going up and down stairs or you’re on uneven ground.

I’m 6.5 and ordered 6.5, they fit perfectly. The inside is soft and comfortable. The shoe keeps you balanced even though they are high. No rubbing or blisters anywhere after I wore them all day and walked 4 miles on them. And I love the sound they make when you walk lol I got the black velvet and it’s so beautiful
