Part 1: This rating is based on how Amazon responded to this transaction. Part 2: This bag, is put together well but
1: Amazon's response: I've been pleasantly surprised at Amazon's responses to order problems (few and far between)before, and was again impressed with how quickly the Amazon agent handled this particular case: I recited a saga involving some color selection glitch with a checkout window whose ripple effect messed the order up. Jay followed the steps I'd taken on the order, and confirmed the error, resolving my return issue beyond even my guessed 'best-case scenario". I checked the window later, and true to his promise, the issue was fixed. At the end of the call, I only casually mentioned a measurement discrepancy with a laser I'd bought (GB50...well built!). Upon checking that item later, I saw its erroneous measurement had been removed. If shopping were football, Amazon's fumble recovery has been 100% on my stat sheet...I'm talking about them taking care of what sellers or manufacturers missed.2: Everest bag: I'd ordered a medium black. I have it now, and it is great. The zippers (pull-tabs AND teeth) are a much heavier gauge than a lot of comparable brands. The bag's measurements matched the posted ones. I'm always leery of the absence of a boxed-in "x" stitch where the belt meets the bag, but this feels strong, and I load it up like 3rd trimester octomom; it holds stuff!Visit the Everest website to have accurate information for your selection. You'll quickly realize 2 things: A. Some Amazon sellers have great prices on these bags, but... B. Everest bags' sizes are misinterpreted on a lot of posts...Not just here, but it seems everywhere. There are telltale signs: (posted product dimensions and pocket configurations don't match the advertised "kid's","medium", "large" etc. size.) In my case, I interpreted the seller's posted dimensions to be the intended bag size, and that's what I'd received. The adjustable belt can fit waists from toddlers up to domestic cattle. I hot-knifed the belt to my size, leaving enough room to fold over and sew should the cut's melted fiber ends ever fray. Measure a real fanny pack before you select online to know that's the right size. A bag's cuts, features, and tapered lines really influence its volume. I thought I chose a bit big, but it was just enough.UPDATE: 3 WEEKS LATER...the front pocket's single-row perimeter stitching broke at one area and I subsequently tore the pocket off. I want to blame the bag, but I'm hard on my gear. In light of this, I upgraded to a WAY more expensive, clunky , and less stylish lumbar pack. Why still a 5-star rating? Chances are I busted the stitch, I suck at sewing, and the belt, main compartment, and zipper are holding up nicely to my abuse. Oh...and its only a $10. bag.

Total length approx 42-70"
Bought this after my wallet & phone fell out of my pocket on an amusement park ride. (Fortunately, I realized & recovered them before it was too late.) I wasn't sure about the waist length, but it turned out to be more than ample. Out of curiosity, I grabbed a tape measure, and the entire length of the pack plus fully extended belt is 70 inches. There's only one slide adjuster, on the "long" end of the belt, and in my case, it is all the way doubled back to the pack with an extra inch or so hanging off. Anyone whose waist is less than about 40" might find this too long since the most you can double it back leaves a total length about 42". Other than that, it seems reasonably durable & a good size for what I need to carry when I can't rely on pockets. Also, separate zipper compartments means that I don't have to worry about my keys scratching up my phone or whatever.

Amazing product!
This waist pack is amazing! The quality is excellent, and it is big enough to carry quite a few things. I bought it to wear on a motorcycle trip to an amusement park. For the motorcycle trip, it was perfect. I was able to keep my pockets empty (for more comfort while riding) and put my wallet, phone, keys (when not in use), and even had plenty of room for my Ruger LCR concealed carry revolver. That was a big plus, because it was very comfortable to carry while being quickly and easily accessible at all times, without being suspicious. While riding the motorcycle, the pack would rest in the center of my lap and it felt very secure (although I was always very careful to adjust the strap and make sure it was fastened well). I was also wearing a backpack, but I often stop to take pictures with my phone and I wanted something more accessible that would allow me to keep my pockets mostly empty. If you're like me, you have stayed far away from "fanny packs" for years because they just aren't "cool". Well personally, I feel like those days are long gone, and this is the perfect balance between convenience and comfort. This waist pack (much better name than "fanny"!) is way more comfortable than a backpack, and is a great way to carry water or other bulky objects (too big for your pockets) with you without hampering your movement much. The main downside was that the amusement park (Carowinds in Charlotte, NC) would not allow these kind of bags on the rides, so I still had to drop it off in the bin each time, which made me put my keys/wallet/phone back in my pockets again. That was pretty annoying, but was not the fault of the waist pack. So cargo pants would probably have been better for inside the park, but the waist pack is perfect for motorcycle trips or hiking, etc. I haven't tried using it while running or biking, but I imagine it would be great for longer trips where you need water. I can't wait to use it again!

Worked out better than expected for dog training
I would love this if it had nylon pulls and didn't clang constantly as the metal tabs clink together. Very annoying. Another reviewer mentioned that they put their own nylon pulls on and cut off the metal ones. As soon as I can find nylon pulls, I'll do the same.Otherwise, it's a nice durable material. It's a little larger than I anticipated, but this is actually a good thing. I use this for dog training and it easily holds a ziplock baggie of treats, a squeaky tennis ball, a spare roll of poo bags, and I recently discovered that I can also fit a bottle of water for longer training sessions. Inside the main big pocket there's also a mesh pocket where I put dry treats. The pocket along the back is thin and holds my drivers license and phone. The smaller front pocket holds my car keys, sometimes my phone.Fully loaded with the bottle of water, it's a little heavy and droops but not totally uncomfortably. It's definitely got a long enough strap. I need to cut about a foot or so off in order to shorten it, but just haven't gotten around to it.

Great quality and pocket sizes.
As a wheelchair user I need somewhere accessible to store my wallet, keys, phone etc. This bum bag is brilliant. There’s plenty of space in the pockets for everything I need and the quality is great. I’m particularly pleased with the length of the waist strap, not that I use it all but with other bum bags my wife has had to add an additional section so it’ll fit me. Overall I’m really pleased with this purchase.

Best fanny pack I’ve bought
Bought this because I’m going on vacation but I wore it today for the first time and it’s the best. It’s spacious, good size and looks stylish. I did get another one but it’s bigger and that one is just as good as this one. The price is great too.

Excelente producto.
Me gustó muy amplio. Busque varias opciones y está fue la que más me agrado, el tiempo de entregar es razonable ya me lo enviaron desde USA. Lo único que no me gustó fue que el cordon viene demasiado largo y se tiene que mandar a arreglar.
