We bought this for a separate room we have for our cat's litter boxes, food etc. We had a couple small air cleaners in the room, the small wall plug in type. One day after plugging this in and seeing the difference in the air quality I unplugged the other two air cleaners! This is a great air cleaner and has made a huge difference in the air quality and smell. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one if needed.

As my dd has asthma I bought one for her as soon as she moved to the dorms and it really helps to keep the air clean in her room.

Makes loose bearing noise from motor only after a few months of use :(

Low setting is quiet. Since the pandemic I purchased two! Very big difference in air quality! Nice and small unit but covers a larger room.

I tried two of these. The first one started rattling after a few weeks of use. Amazon sent me a replacement, and that one started rattling after a few weeks also. Both started out quiet as a whisper but it seems they aren’t built well enough to last past the return period is over. Now I’m stuck with this lemon. Do not buy this air filter. Get a Honeywell.

Does what it is supposed to be weary of people returning used filters. I think I got a box because my filter replacement light will not shut of on either of the two I have, both purchased from Amazon and the filter box looked like a return. Starting not to trust Amazon.

It's a simple desktop air filter, and solely on that purpose, I think it seems to do the job. It is quite noisy, and some minor rattles can be heard, but a huge annoyance are the controls. The buttons are not positive, as in, there is no on or off, nor a positive click/tactile aspect to them - they beep (about once in every 5-7 times) and there's a light that should correspond to the setting, but only comes on as you press a button - it does not stay on, so you do not know which setting any of the buttons are set to. (hmm... the light flicked when I pressed ion setting, does it mean it is on? total mystery, as it does NOT stay on for on, or off for off - only to show that you pressed the button that seems to work in a toggle function. The buttons are very fiddly as well - sometimes it actuates with the lightest touch, other times, nothing happens with the heaviest touch. I've not seen another simple item that has the most baffling logic or design to the buttons. If I could return this thing, I would...
