Good way to get a standing desk
If you are reading this, you likely already know the benefits of standing part of the day, so this is just about the product. I've used the VertDesk for over a week and can honestly say it is good, not great, but very good. Why not great? Well, it is slightly wobbly at or near full extension (I'm tall). It's not a problem as it is stable enough to get work done. I bought the legs only version to use with my beautiful carved mahogany desktop. The instructions are for a pre-drilled commercial desktop, but the assembly sequence for my application was easy to figure out. It says it's rated at 200lbs lift, and I believe it. It moves smoothly and without strain with about 100 lbs., but does make a squeak going down. I had to contact the seller for advice with a reset due to power loss. Contact was easy and they were pleasant to speak with. It's a tad pricey but worth it if the benefits of standing are true. All in all, it's made well enough for average use and I'd buy another for our company if a co-worker wants one.
