Fake, this is 100% fake
I bought 2 of these.I tested the bulbs. They are emitting no light in the UV range, NO UVC. No UV at all! This has 0 disinfecting property. It's just an ordinary LED light in approximate wavelength of 500 nm, nowhere near the UV range.I do not know why there seems to be an organized effort to sell the fake LEDs. When I ordered here, there were 2 listings, now there are over 50.I really hope they aren't trying to lure us all into false sense of security and promote the spread of the virus.Do yourself a favor, do not buy anything that looks like this.

Remote control is backwards!
The remote control base needs power to work, so when you screw in the UVC bulb, and then into the socket, it COMES ON BY DEFAULT WHICH IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS! The default should be OFF!There is NO WAY to screw this bulb in and not get irradiated, unless yiou have a secondary switch such as on a lamp to have it off. As soon as you power up the lamp, YOU GET IRRADIATED!So this whole remote setup so you can be safely away to turn it on is backwards.Yes, you can use the remote to quickly turn it off, assuming your batteries (not included) are good, but you are already blinded by UVC full in your face. There are no LEDs to indicate the state of the base switch, and no LEDs on the reomte to let you know if you are off or on or low battery.Return this product!

A complete fiasco!
This light bulb is a complete fiasco. The wavelength of this bulb corresponds to UV-B, and therefore it has absolutely no germicidal capacity. I think Amazon should take responsibility for allowing these scams in this serious Covid-19 crisis.

WARNING: unsafe remote control adapter socket turns on always when it gets power, so defaults to ON!
WARNING, very poor safety design of the light switch adapter - you can damage your eyes if you are not aware of this and don’t have another separate remote light switch. This adapter always turns itself on when it gets power even if it was off (by remote) before. For example even power fluctuates in your house, the OFF will suddenly flip to ON.This means if you screw the adapter into live socket with the UVC it will immediately turn the UVC on in front of you which can damage your eyes. Basically no matter what you do, unless you have ANOTHER remote switch, this adapter is unsafe.Thankfully I tested the adapter first with a regular bulb and was shocked to see it behave this way. I ended up using a separate homekit remote light switch.

Never delivered
The item was never delivered. Also if you read all other comments, it appears this is not a UV-C bulb at all.

Not UVC as described
Tested the light with an Extech SDL470 Light meter (which measures UVC light intensity) at less than 2" away from bulb and the meter indicated 0-microwatts/cm^2. Do not waste your money on this product, this does not appear to be a UVC light as advertised.

It is not an ordinary production
It came in a card board box without any product or manufacturer information. The box was even not taped for shipping at all. It could be opened or closed simply with one hand. There was no manual in the box either. The light is default on every time when the power is supplied. I was dazzled at the first time.Every time, when I move the light to another room, I have to run away quickly after the power cable is connected.I am also wondering if it works at all. It radiates a light blue light, which is different than the UV light I have used before. There is no small of ozone, but my experience tells me, there should be a little bit ozone anyway. Even a "no ozone" UV light will generate a small amount of ozone.

I got mine... but a little skeptical
I received my lamp today. It came a week late, but with all that is going on, that's understandable. There are many people here who say they have not gotten theirs, so I guess I am one of the lucky ones? Bulb, timer and remote... it all works (at least it lights up bright).Anybody have any idea on how to test these things?I will change this to a five-star review or a one-star review depending on how testing goes.
