The Best Lube for Pool and Spa Equipment
I have used just about every Pool Lube that's out there. Magic Lube II Silicone is the best. No one paid me to say that. I've tried the others and this one really works well. And it lasts a long time. It is worth a few extra bucks to get this kind of quality. I highly recommend it.

Great product!!
Tried using the pool supply generic product; it did not work very well. Magic Lube II is sticker and not as runny. Stays in place and keeps the DE filter from leaking. Ordered extra to always have some in my stock.

Works great for my Hayward pool pump and filter cartidge container seals and orings.
This product is really sticky and seems to stay on the orings longer than other oring lube that I have used. I have switched to this brand now as it works great and lasts longer.

Aladdin Magic Lube II: improvement over original
Product arrived 2 days early, packed in sealable plastic. Lube is better for o-rings than original. No issues on first use.

Great silicone lubricant
This silicone lubricant was reccomended for the o rings on my pool system. The lube works great and saved me a service call!

Magic Lube RED Type 2
This is the magic stuff you need to use when coating DE filter o-rings and other pool parts after cleaning the grids. It MUST be Magic Lube Red Type 2, and not the "blue" label Magic Lube. This stuff is great for other pool parts as well, especially the pump basket-filter lid.

Shipping/delivery were good/as expected.
Any hints on how to get this stuff out of the tube? Does it have to be 120 degrees outside for it to soften enough to squeeze out? I wasn’t anticipating this as other silicon lubricants for the pool I have are more viscous. As such, maybe it’s supposed to be like that? I have never used the red tube before. Only the blue.

recommend using Silicone lube
Silicone is the way to go. Not much difference in price from the regular Magic Lube, but check your manuals. Most, if not all, recommend using Silicone lube. Go for the 5 oz tube. You won't be sorry and your O rings, etc., will thank you. Fast shipping.

Expensive but so are pools! The best lube available, I use it on all by fittings that have orings including the pump basket. Fixes any minor leaks and helps keep the orings trouble free. Well worth the price tag

I purchased this solely to help my hot water taps from being hard to turn. Regular silicone grease would wash out after a few months, then the taps sqeaked and were hard to turn. This product got washed out, just the same as other products I tried. Would likely be good for other applications, but not hot water taps
