My hard drive is relatively hot all the time (I boot my OS from external hard drive) how would the adhesive hold up against temperature?

I have the exact same issue with my Mac! It has held up very nicely with the warm temperature. I recommend it.

Will it fit a WD passport external drive?

Yes it will. I use a 500GB WD external hard drive.

Compatible with asus tuf f15 (rugged surface)?

It has really good stick, so unless it has a nonstick coating to it, it should work

Is there like a smaller version to place behind a phone ?

Sorry, there is no other version of case.
