Love this bake book! Beautiful design and now I can attempt to make the cookie flavors I love from the Milk Jar bakery. Easy to follow instructions, I’ve made the chocolate chip cookies a bunch of times now and made the peach cookie once, both very tasty. My next recipe to attempt will be the berry pie. I’ve recommended this book to everyone I know!You may need to order some less common extracts for certain flavors, but it was definitely worth it to make the peach cobbler cookie, and the book lists recommendations for stores to get supplies from in the first pages.

I have been waiting for this cookbook release for months - I own over 200 cookbooks but I don’t believe I’ve ever been quite *this* excited for a book release. I’m originally from Los Angeles and when I was visiting home I stopped at Milk Jar on a whim because the exterior looked cute. I got a chocolate chip cookie and a carton of milk. My wife got a snickerdoodle. We literally sat in the car in silence for ten minutes eating our cookies - they are THAT good. We were nearly brought to tears and that is not hyperbole. I live in Washington and so for four years I’ve tried to recreate this moment by baking batch after batch of chocolate chip cookies to try to match the heavenly deliciousness of a milk jar cookie. I couldn’t do it. FINALLY I can bake these at home. Thank you, thank you, THANK you for writing this book, Courtney. I’m a huge fan - you truly have created the perfect cookie (and there are some other fabulous baked treats in this book, too!).

I'm so glad she wrote a book with all her recipes. Unfortunately her store closed and I started freaking out that I couldn't get my banana Spilt cookie ever again. Then, I was so lucky to find her fabulous book on Amazon with all her precious recipes. Big shout out for doing a book letting us enjoy your delicious one of a kind recipes. Now we can still enjoy, only I'm sure they won't measure up to the real fresh baked goods out of her shop.

I have been a fan of this bake shop in LA for a while. I found it online and have her cookies shipped to me, I have never visited in person, and the cookies are my favorite. When the announcement was made that a bakebook from Milk Jar Cookies was coming, I knew I had to have it. It arrived today. I could not wait to get my grocery list made and start baking. This is legit, My cookies, that I made in my kitchen, are just like the ones I have enjoyed from LA. The best thing in this book, she did not stop at cookies. There are all kinds of treats to make. I can not wait to make more of these delish recipes. OH... If you are on my list for Christmas, You will be getting this bakebook.

We were intrigued by this cookbook and were on the pre-order list, and it was even better than we thought it would be! We are not bakers but the recipes are easy to follow and SO good! The QR codes for music playlists to go along with some of the recipes is such a fun idea too, and with how interactive it is my kids enjoy cooking (and cleaning up afterwards!) more than they ever have. This is a great cookbook for bakers and non-bakers alike, and especially good for anyone that enjoys cooking as a family! We love it and could not recommend this enough!

I purchased Milk Jar cookies when I was in LA one time. They are the best cookies I've ever tasted - my only regret is that they are large and filling and I can't eat more than one. So many good varieties! When I saw that they had published a recipe book, I ordered it with some reservations about being able to duplicate those delicious cookies from the store. Well, the book is well written with all the details and secrets for dozens of different flavor cookies. I've made three of my favs so far and they don't disappoint. The book is also full of stories and pictures that make it fun to explore. If you like cookies, I recommend this recipe book.

Milk Jar Cookies Bakebook is as beautiful to look at as the recipes are yummy! I'm no baker, but the chocolate chip cookies I made using Courtney's recipe turned out amazing! I highly recommend this bakebook for anyone who wants to make delicious baked goods. There's also some really cool features, such as QR codes that lead to informative videos and specially curated playlists. What better time than right now to perfect your baking skills?!
