My "Gaming Chair" for flight sim is a metal frame, stacking, "Conference Chair". The kind they'd set up by the dozens or hundreds in a hotel for a, well, for a conference. Legs are 3/4" square tubing, maybe 20ga. Very lightweight. When new the legs have a nylon/plastic insert for floor protection. The used version from Goodwill for 7 bucks, usually has the nylon thing worn off, exposing the sharp, metal, square tubing edge.These little slip on goobers fit perfectly on the well worn feet of this old metal chair. They allow reasonable slide, not overly grippy, at least on my porcelain tile floor. They don't add appreciable height.Just as an experiment I slipped a set of those silicone/felt, condom looking protectors OVER these hard plastic protectors. I like the result. No floor damage, good slide, noise reduction, better helicopter pilot!RNGR-15, ceeya!

I have bought three sets leg tip caps from Flyshop for my wood chairs and tables. All of them work well for my furniture, they are beautiful and robust. They protect my floor and furniture well. My experience is that PVC is solid and not very flexible. I wouldn't expect a leg cap made of PVC would stretch or flex. These both flex and stretch. The leg caps that these were intended to replace broke because they didn't flex or stretch and they couldn't handle the pressure.As these are going to be used outdoors, they need to be able to handle various weather conditions. They will also need to handle rough handling and rough surfaces. These feel like they're intended to be used indoors on a smooth floor.But, these seem to fit my 3/4" leg well. They stretch and flex enough to make installation easier.

I have a pair of chairs whose front legs are on a rug and back legs on hardwood floors. Every time someone sat down they would scoot backwards. These have them secure and staying put. Better than I thought they'd work and look.

I ended up returning mine because they didn’t quite fit, but the customer service was excellent. If I need some for different chairs, I will definitely make sure to order from this store.

I want $2000 to refinish my floors again. We just did this and bought these protectors to keep the floor looking nice. Just moved the table over a bit and discovered yellow stains where all 4 table legs with the we covers were. Pissed doesn’t even begin to explain how I feel. It doesn’t clean off either… permanent stain. DONT BUY THESE!!!

Product seems fine, just too large for my patio chair legs. I will need to return them.
