Our porcelain kitchen kink had become badly spotted with imbedded mold. Most effective mold eliminators include a strong dose of Clorox, to which I am extremely sensitive. Hence, I refuse to try these products. I tried several other cleaning products with no success after thorough scrubbing. We use this product to clean up instruments at the hospital. Someone suggested I try it. I put on some rubber gloves and sprinkled some powder on a wet sponge. With just a little scrubbing, the mold easily disappeared! Evidently, it does contain some caustic substances, but no vapors that bothered me. Nonetheless, it's recommended that you have good ventilation. A warning not to use on Aluminum sinks, etc., and not to mix with Clorox.
