This is probably the hardest foam roller available. With that being said it works and doesn't leave any marks like those ones with nubs and shaped areas. I feel those are a bit gimmicky because they skip over areas of your muscle tissue while rolling. They also tend to leave bruises. With this one just control the pressure your body weight is putting on the roller, breathe through the discomfort of your tight muscle and then enjoy the benefits. I broke my left leg when I was a child and things just never pan out the way they do for my right side. I often need to stretch and massage my left IT band and quadricep to relieve hip and back pain. I had a softer version for many years but it finally just wore out and was no longer effective. I believe this one will last longer providing my roomates dog doesn't get to it.

I use it to crack my back I was going to return because of how hard it is and its dows hurt to roll on however it will never lose shape and does the job well.

for the good kind of pain... this does the trick. It feels wonderful to practice a little self-chiropractic care and roll across this. the pops in your back/shoulders/neck feel fantastic after sitting all day at a computer. I was kind of expecting something with the consistency of a pool noodle... and I was pleasantly surprised that this is completely rigid. Despite being made of foam, and super-lightweight, it is tough, and does not have any give at all. I believe if I had to order again, I'd get the slightly smaller size, as this is just ever so slightly too large in diameter for my liking... but it definitely does what I wanted it for, and gets daily use. In my opinion, a great buy for anyone suffering from lower-back pain or needing to apply pressure to sore muscles.

The roll really works, when I need to stretch my back I find relief. When I do feel that my ribs are out of place the roller helps

I like a very firm roller even though I’m 5’3 120lbs. I don’t want something to squishy when I have knots. It definitely gets the kinks out without spending too much time on the floor although the massage effects are nice too. Very light weight but surprisingly tough! My only regret is I should have gotten the next size up!

Its hard and hurts when I roll on it on my back. It would be better if it was a little softer. I would probably recommend a different one if I bought one again.

I bought this product after visiting the physical therapist about knee pain I was having. He recommended I use a foam roller to help correct the issue causing the pain. After viewing several products, I settled on this one because it was lightweight and fairly compact but mostly because it was inexpensive. Also, my physical therapist recommended the black foam rollers since they were the densest and would not give or flex as easy. I've been using the roller for a few months and have noticed a pretty big improvement in knee mobility and pain. I have been using it for other muscle pains/tightness as well as a great way to crack my back. I travel a good bit and actually carry it with me when I can. This is the second one I have purchased. The first one was destroyed by my dog. This is a simple yet great product.

Material com excelente qualidade, com o tempo não chega a perder densidade o que é um ponto negativo. Só não é ideal para ambiente com crianças, pois é fácil de tirar pedaços!

J'avais initialement acheté un rouleau avec relief pour soulager les tensions musculaires au dos et aux hanches. Le rouleau en relief est parfait pour le dos, mais causait des ecchymoses lorsque je j'utilisais pour les hanches. Ce rouleau lisse est parfait pour soulager les tensions au niveau des hanches. J'aurais toutefois aimer trouver un rouleau de 14" soit la même grandeur que mon rouleau avec relief. J'ai choisi celui de 16" et je le trouve un peu gros, mais 12" me semble un peu trop petit. Aucune compagnie ne semble offrir des rouleaux lisses de 14".
