Rage Against The Machine - XX 20th Anniversary

If you were stranded on an island and could only have one album, this should be it!
This. Is. Sick. They brought the bass guitar up just a small enough notch to be noticable. It has a clearer, heavier vibe to it in general. If you hear it and you listened to the original until the cd wore out, youll know what i mean. The bonus disk was awesome. It had a couple songs from a "live and rare" import album that i paid $35 for back in the day. Also, the original versions of some of there songs are a bit different, solos are different and some intros.

I won't do what you tell me!
This entire album is the Bombtrack. If you're new to the RATM sound, this is the perfect way to dive in. This is one of those albums that you would think just came out, as it doesn't feel dated let alone 20 years old. The remaster is great, not a huge difference but just sounds cleaner, especially with a good set of headphones/buds. Highly recommend for your collection, and at the price point that I got it (2.99) it's silly not to pick it up!

LOVE LOVE LOVE it
what a great album. Normally I don't buy remasters because I still haven't heard one where the difference in quality was apparent, but this is one of my very favorite albums so I didn't mind. Besides the great songs, they have included 3 live versions of songs and they're pretty good, in each one they stuck pretty close to the CD version but the recording quality was pretty good. You will want to play it loud.

Not disappointed. This is a super bonus to the original.
Love the 20th Anniversary Edition. I hope they tour the States this year. Not just the 5 planned shows so far. You will love this disc if you are a Rage fan.

Great Anniversary Edition
I usually don't justify re-buying a Cd I already own, thankfully a friend borrowed the original and neglected to return it so I justified buying it again. Great edition. I love the DVD, getting to watch their classic videos. So raw and full of emotion. The demos CD is awesome too. It's interesting to hear how some of the songs evolved.Worth buying again.

Flawed release of a perfect album
RATM's debut has aged wonderfully, and remains a staple in my collection. The original release had impeccable production (I use it to set up sound systems) and every song on it is strong. This release gives the whole album an unnecessary bass boost. In addition, the packaging is awful. The discs cannot be removed from the cardboard case without either putting friction on the discs or getting fingerprints on them. Bad news if you are trying to preserve them. The good news, though, is you get a great amount of bonus material. The demo disc is a must have. Previously, I only heard these tracks on a bootleg-of-a-bootleg, and they have been massively cleaned up for this release. I can't speak for the DVD as I have not watched it to date.

Worth it!
Needed to replace my single cd version and saw this. The extras are so cool! Sound is excellent. My friends are jealous.

One of the best bands of all times' best album
One of the best bands of all times' best album. Remastered. Extra tunes. I'm not much for concert DVDs, but if you never had a chance to see Rage, here you go. I love hearing the early versions of the songs that defined my younger days. "Clear the Lane" and "Autologic" are highlights on CD2.
