Mr. Kipling Lemon Sponge Pudding - 2 Per Package

The product is definitely rated five in my books. I absolutely loved the taste of it. It tasted very fresh. I love the fact that in 30 seconds in the microwave, I can have some thing that taste like it came out of the bakery fresh. The problem I have and have had with all of their products is the shipping Packaging. I’ve had multiple problems with the packages being ripped open, missing the covering cardboard, ripped coverings, and completely opened and placed in another Amazon bag. I don’t feel like it’s the manufactures fault. I think it’s some thing in the actual shipping that’s causing this problem . Hence the reason for the continued five star review. I have contacted Amazon several times and they replace the order. It is a pain to call. However, I cannot complain about how fast my order was replaced and no questions asked after they saw the pictures. So no complaints there.

A medicinal lemon taste and very dry. Not moiste at all and the taste is like a cleanser.

I love lemon everything & purchased this dessert after reading the description. But have to admit that I was disappointed with this purchase, taste was okay but it was very dry. Probably not the best idea to purchase this type of dessert long distance!

These lemon pudding cups seemed like a good idea but the batch that I receive simply was not fresh. I realize that this is shelf top portable ready but these seemed old and stale. Cake was crumbly, dried out in spots and had a pasty texture. They were not outdated in any way and the expiration date had almost a full year left on them, but they cake was sunken down into the bottom of the cups and almost flavorless. In addition, they were very overpriced - I paid almost ten dollars for 1 box of 2 small dried out lemon pudding cake cups.

I was really surprised. American food is loaded with chemicals, but these had such a pronounced chemical taste I had to throw them away after 2 bites.

Package was a little dented, but no big deal. Comes with two small pudding cups. Heat in microwave; don’t serve cold. Very yummy!

I'm just a simple Yank that loves Mr. Kiplings. Sadly, they aren't sold here in the states, which is why I'm mighty appreciative of Amazon for being willing to send them across the pond to my humble frontier.Unfortunately, these so-called lemony cakes just didn't tickle my fancy. They were drier than tumbleweed and pretty bland to boot!I offered 'em on up to my husband thinking maybe he could make something of 'em, only to hear him cry out "WHAT IN TARNATION!" from his study. Apparently about half the batch the jam had soaked right on through the cake making it one sticky mess. We ended up adding what was left to the slop bucket for the pigs.So, I won't be ordering up any more of this flavor anytime soon. I'll just stick to the others like the Cherry Tartwells and Batterbergs I tell you what.and the jam at the bottom had done soaked on through the cake.
