Heba the Ho'oponoponoist

On the surface, Heba the Ho'oponoponoist is a book that aims to give kids tools for dealing with bullying and other difficult situations. As a parent, I appreciate the way the story takes the main character through an emotional learning process that feels both real and effective - thanks to Heba's magic fairly dust.What I didn't expect was how much Heba's magic would effect my life. During the time I was reading it, I had a difficult situation come up with a colleague that was pretty stuck. Thanks to Heba, I decided to give Ho'oponopono a try on the situation. The result was that the situation cleared up quickly in a way that worked out for the best for all involved. Heba's magic worked!Highly recommend it!

The message in this book is so powerfully simple for children and adults. Teased mercilessly as a child, neither myself nor my parents had the skills or mindset to deal with these situations effectively. I grew up fearful of making others angry or of being different. Eventually I learned that loving others exactly where they are, and forgiving their actions knowing that we all come from our fears, was the best choice to make when dealing with conflict. In this book, Charan beautifully and authentically articulates a real solution for children and their parents to handle bullies, teasing and the like. The message is pure and simple, and the illustrations are lovely. Thank you, Charan, for such an inspiring and inspired book!

Charan is a master at putting the words together that form peace. The story, along with ho'oponopono, gives children and adults the power and permission to create an ideal space. Through Heba, who only knows peace and nothing else, we are taken through a journey of discovery to know how all things are interconnected. Thus, when we feel any separateness, we only need employ ho'oponopono to remember who we truly are. Thank you, Charan. I enjoyed reading Heba the Ho'Oponoponoist immensely. In bringing the gift and lessons of Ho'Oponopono to life in a heartwarming and magical story, Charan Surdhu has opened a window for kids to become masters of their inner lives. In a gentle and loving way Heba helps Annie to look at her problems in school in a different and enlightened way. It would be wonderful to have more than one copy in every school and library and before we know it kids will be changing the world for the better! "Thank you and I love you" Heba!

For those of you who think that you will have a good new book for children's bedtime reading, you are right. For those of you who think that this is where it stays, you are wrong. Heba gets under the skin and works her magic for everyone, just as long as you let her. We all should have a little Heba in our lives, especially as the message she spreads is eternal. Just say, "..." OK, I am not telling, go get her. :)

I read this book very quickly after lunch the other day, right before going back to work. I bought it for my son, but I haven't read it to him yet. It is comforting to know that Heba comes to you to share (or remind us) that we are all connected and that forgiveness and love are really what can make our collective lives better. I am happy that children's books like this exist. Thank you and I love you!

This book is a spiritual gem for children and grown ups. Charan is able to use a delightful story to link spiritual concepts and practice to images and language a child can understand. The themes of love, forgiveness, positivity and intention are presented in context of the Divine. The application of love and forgiveness to transform relationships as revealed by Heba will be godsend for parents seeking ways to communicate these practices to their children.

This book is absolutely wonderful for children! My daughter, 8, had fallen out with her friends at school, and she was extremely upset. I know of Ho'ponopono through the book  Zero Limits: The Secret Hawaiian System for Wealth, Health, Peace, and More , and through Joe Vitale's other work around this subject that you can get whatever you want by clearing your thoughts and being responsible for your own actions. I found that book incredibly helpful for myself and the problems I was facing.Now this book is available which aims to deliver the idea of clearing and thinking positive to young people and children and my daughter found it very helpful. She has read it 3 times already and she's had the book a week now. She finds that she is more focused on her schoolwork and extra curricular activities, and she now gets along better with her friends and family more than she had before. It's fantastic for a mother to see that their child is genuinely happy inside.I recommend this book to all children, and even adults. The auther, Charan Surdhar communicates about how to practice ho'ponopono in a practical and easy manner. You can read this book in just one hour!Best buy of the year. This is a good book to start introducing children to the concept of energy and being connected, but it just didn't flow as well as I felt it could, and seemed to jump at times on bits that could have been expanded upon. That said, a good opportunity to help children learn, but felt decidedly overpriced for what it was.

I read this book to my daughter at bed-time and she fell asleep with a smile on her face!Using magic,Charan brings forgiveness,thankfulness and love into the consciousness of childrenand makes them realize that THEY can make a change not only in their lives but also in the lives of others.A brilliant way to spread love!Thank you Charan and I hope that the book will be translatedin as many languages as possible so that all the children can be part of your magic!

A lovely energy to this book which is healing in itself! As an adult I enjoyed reading it and looking forward to sharing it with my grand daughter soon. Good for kids that are unhappy. Less suitable for severe trauma cases perhaps?
