A lot of good advice, just wished it wasnt as pc.
I am a Villanova grad and love the sport of basketball. I enjoyed hearing about the players and the road to the championship. I also liked hearing about Jay's career path. Jay is the consummate politician, always taking the high road and always saying the right thing - this is one of the reasons he is so good for Villanova and why he is an ambassador for the sport of basketball.. I guess I hoped the book would be a little less "politically correct". There has to be someone Jay has disagreed with or not gotten along with over his career and I would have enjoyed hearing about how he handled those situations. With that said, I liked the book overall and would recommend it.

I love Villanova even more! #Attitude
Jay runs a top notch basketball program at Villanova. His reflection of the start of coaching career and his years at Villanova are full of lessons learned and steps made to become the best you and team. Jay is not just teaching basketball, he is grooming young men with a mission to be good people beyond the court. I learned so much about what makes a great basketball program - and it really is not all about skill! As a VU alum, I smiled many times as Jay brought me back to places (The Palestra) and moments (1985 NCAA championship). Jay shares many pearls and life lessons, that I plan to listen to it again with my 13 year old son. I suggest listening to it, as Jay talks about many old players, coaches and people in sports - listening to these names is easier than reading them. Next Game!

Biased, but I would still like it.
I am biased, but I really like Jay Wright. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars, was because I would have liked Jay to narrate the entire book.

Good insight into the Villanova program
This was a good look inside of the Villanova program. There was a little too much background history of who Coach Wright worked for and learned from and where he went but the part of the book that talked about what makes him and his program so successful was enlightening. I would recommend this book to anyone who coaches or leads a business.

Good read.
Very good book. As a Carolina fan it is hard to relive a moment that had me on the floor for 15 minutes. The message is great. The antidotes from Father Rob are fantastic. I highly recommend for any basketball fan or youth coach.

Jay Wright seems like an amazing guy
Jay Wright seems like an amazing guy, and he's obviously a world-class basketball coach. This book, however, fell a bit flat for me. He does a great job detailing the road to Villanova's 2016 National Championship. I was hoping for more practical applications of his coaching methods, philosophies, culture-building strategies, etc. Instead, he uses this book to thank everyone in his coaching and personal life, including his tailor.
