Yale-G First Aid: Crush USMLE Step 2 CK and Step 3 (Ed5) Paperback – January 1, 2020

I was happy with the 5th edition and this 6th edition has taken my study to the next level. The book has been written and updated with plentiful new information and improvements.If you are looking for a book with detailed information on each medical condition because you need to learn medicine again, this book is not for you. Some previous complaints from other buyers actually do not do justice to the book simply because this is not a medical textbook. It is written for exam revision and aimed at giving the best opportunity to score as high as possible. So the advantages are as follow:- It thoroughly deals with all topics that may emerge in the exam in the best way possible, so that you could study more efficiently. As a result, the amount of information may be overwhelming for some, so please be ready to develop an appropriate study habit with this book, for example, navigating the table of contents, taking notes, etc.- The text is written succinctly, with important points in bold. I personally love this style as it helps to focus your attention, which is beneficial for exam purposes. The author does not beat around the bush and gives you the most direct information that you should remember, so be prepared to absorb the wisdom. It is normal that you may feel overloaded with pearls and wisdom, so just make time to digest and memorize the info.- Another stellar feature of this book is the high yield questions where you not only find the opportunity to carve the lesson in your mind better but also hone your exam skills in the best way you can expect. This is the section that I love so much, as it is where the care with which the author has written the book with is showcased the most clearly. The questions are designed not to show that the author is smart enough to trick you but to ensure that you are covered as much as possible for the exam.So far I haven't seen any downside of this book because I know that I want, and this book provides me with a solution. I do not have the same expectation with other series (Of course I have also learnt a lot from other series during my exam journey). Sometimes a different and new approach to study is helpful, and this is a reward to those who have an open mind. But again mind you that, this book is really an information blast, which may blow your mind away during your tiring revision hours. A bit of coffee may help.Many thanks to the author(s).

I just recently completed a review course with mostly videos and lectures. After the course, I asked my Lecturer which book he recommended for my dedicated study time and he suggested this book. I'm happy with my purchase. I noticed that the points that are given in each chapter as essentially the salient points given in UWORLD for the corresponding topics. The book is also comprehensive but to the point so you're not wasting time learning or reviewing what you don't need to know as you prepare for exams.

Great book geared towards medical students and residents. I find this book to be very comprehensive and am using it daily in my step 2 prep. I like the numerous tables throughout the book that make things easier to memorize and has pretty much everything you need all in one book. Recommended to my friends.Note: VERY COMPREHENSIVE. Especially helpful on shelf exams.

I bought the previous kindle version and paper book, and i must say it is a great book. Going over it chapter wise and with the pool of questions in the end are really helpful. All the guidelines and questions are according to up2date. I really appreciate the great effort by the author. Definitely recommended to all medical students.

1 star because you had to inform people that this is not a typical kindle book it's more or less like a pdf file!Please fix

Useful summary of most common diseases with many figures; The book also contains many mnemonics, key facts, and HY questions after each chapter. The book also has a lot of tables that compare and contrast similar disease processes.

Great update from 5e. Great comprehensive coverage of all major topics. Far better than kaplan
