BestAir Humidifier Bacteriostatic 3BT 32 Oz, WaterTreatment 1T 32 Oz, and Ocean Breeze Splash Scent 16 Oz Kit

We have a big Bonair cooler that goes in our window. The refill tub gets nasty sometimes, the water and filters end up getting pretty nasty and then the air smells nasty. I got these three solutions to see if they would help get rid of the buildup and the smell. Used the bacterial one, then the treatment one, then the odor one and so far it’s worked great! Not sure if it’s because i’m not using it correctly or using it with the wrong devices, but i originally search for products to help prevent calcium build up and to help the smell coming from a swamp cooler i bought that turned out to be used. In trying to use them in a swamp cooler, be very weary in how the swamp cooler works and how powerful it is. I used it in a one that’s meant for about 500 sq. ft. with a rather large fan and a cardboard piece that the water falls through to cool the air. In using the liquids for the first time, it started bubbling away from the cardboard and ended up spraying water everywhere. Not a bad product, just be weary of how you are going to use it as it is very hard to clean it all out so that it doesn’t ruin everything.

The Bacteriostatic helps prolong the life of the wick filter, eliminates odors, prevents algae build up on the wick filter. The Water Treatment also eliminates odors and eliminates the calcium and lime buiid up on the wick filter. The Ocean Breeze Splash Scent is awesome. It makes the air smell so clean and refreshing while it eliminates odors in the air and the wick filter. A lot better value then store prices.

figured I'd go cheap and not use the recommended Venta product. What could go wrong?Been using this and noticing a few days after using it there was a foul smell in the room. The humidifier water is green and murky. It has never looked like this before. Going to d/c using this. Wasted my money. And guess what...the return window for this product ended.....yesterday!

the slash scent doesn't give off any scent

I bought the 3 pack that came with the scent bottle. They seem to work fairly well, no issues there. I feel the scent liquid really doesn't do anything. It smells nice, but I don't smell it at all once in the humidifier. Maybe if they make it more concentrated it will be more potent. I wouldn't buy the scent on its own or buy the 3 pack again though.
