Okay so on my part this took an hour to do because I (stupidly) tried various times to pierce in different positions because I was not happy with the placement. Do not be like me lol. Next day took another hour for me to do because I wanted it to be higher up to where it could actually be seen. This is the result! The swelling lasted for about 2 weeks and now it’s in the phase where it’s healing but pretty fragile. The clamp hurts more than the needle, but the needle barely stung despite its sharpness although there was still blood. If possible, get someone to help you otherwise if you’re a perfectionist you may try this more than once. If you don’t have a high pain tolerate, rub your navel with ice, use numbing cream, or take some pain meds. Either I did the piercing too far up/far apart or it’s the anatomy of my tummy, but the jewelry (for me) was too small during swelling so I had to buy a longer bar, keep that in mind. This is a cheap and easy way to pierce your belly button but know the risk in not doing this professionally! Will buy again when this one heals and pierce the bottom of my belly button 🥰 EDIT: I had this piercing for six months before I took it out. It kept getting caught in clothes and I kept bumping it into surfaces so the healing process wasn’t going good. I also really disliked the placement I made overall because the piercing looked tilted whenever I looked at it in the mirror. Honestly glad I removed it because at that rate it would’ve rejected. Now there’s a dark scar above my button and I have to wait probably up to 2 years before I can pierce it again, at which point I will be going to a professional to do 😭 some people have no problems after piercing themselves at home, and some do… and I was the some who did 😭 I did this completely on a whim too because I was in college and thought doing something completely not like me would be fun. Before you buy this kit and pierce yourself, make sure you’re COMPLETELY positive you won’t regret it because I do 🥲

Not pain free lol Did this 3 years ago and it might have been a dumb teenage decision but it worked out surprisingly well. I still have the piercing and it didn’t have any issues. I highly HIGHLY recommend if you’re going to buy this you NEED to study up on what you are doing like you are going to be tested on it, or just go get it done professionally.

I’m a plus size woman the ring is really small but I didn’t pierce too much skin don’t care for the belly button ring it’s just too bulky and too small but I feel like for something that small it shouldn’t be so bulky but it was easy if you are looking to do this I would recommend putting ice on your stomach to numb the area before piercing it for comfort I didn’t feel anything at all except for maybe pressure of the needle going through so for people who are scared to buy this because they’re scared of pain numbing it with ice helps I don’t care if I mess up I don’t care if I have to redo it I don’t care if people don’t think it looks good I’d rather mess up on my own then pay $65 to get it done professionally and then have it be messed up I think it’s worth the money

Overall this product was great and easy to use however there are a few cons, to start, the ring itself is entirely too short. Its actually 6mm instead of 10mm as advertised so i do recommended buying a separate ring. Also the needle and the ring are the same size meaning the ring wasn't able to fit through the needle as supposed too making it difficult and more painful to put the ring in. I personally had to completely remove the needle and finagle the ring through the hole myself which was painful and quite bloody but i got the piercing through and screwed the top on easily. So far i am not having any problems, although it is only the second day of having it pierced, there is a slight tenderness near the top of the piercing which is completely normal for fresh piercings so i will continue to clean regularly as advised for the next few months in hope of NO infections so that i can exchange the ring out for a longer more comfortable ring! All in all I'd give this product 3.5-4 stars because even though there are a few hard parts and a lot of false advertisement my piercing did in fact come out looking really good and with little pain but ultimately i do advise using this as a last option and go get it done professionally just to be safe!!

DAMN THIS WAS AN EXPERIENCE!! Soo the kit has everything you need, but I didn’t use the piercing it came with (and I honestly don’t recommend you using it either) because it’s poor quality. I stood for a good 5 minutes just contemplating if I should even go through with it. Using the clamp I just closed my eyes tight and pushed the needle in. The needle went through in like 3-4 seconds and didn’t hurt much. For me it really only hurt when I first put it in, after it just mildly stung. The piercings (14G) do not fit with the needle so I removed the needle and just put the piercing in myself which didn’t hurt. It was done really fast! You can see in the pic it’s a lil sore Tip; Y’all try not to do this standing or alone! I stood while doing mine and it felt like I was going to faint, I had to lie down on my floor for a good minute it was a lil scary!!

I pierced my belly button with this 3 years ago and it's still there and beautiful and it never got infected and it honestly was really easy to do. However I will say if you buy this, have a friend with you and have a place to lay down because I passed out from the blood rushing to my belly and I was alone and that was bad. Be careful!

The needle and the provided jewelry are the same size so the jewelry couldn’t go through the needle. Had to manually push the jewelry in a fresh piercing.

I bought this for a lady friend of mine during high school. She said it worked fine, but after cleaning and following instructions, hers got infected. It could be the quality of the products and maybe body anatomy? Sharpness of the piercing tool I think is, average? Her Pain level is pretty tough, so she handled it okay, until the infection came. Value of money/price is okay. But, if you want to get something similar, just please be careful and check to make sure your body will accept the jewelry. It is helpful to the process of healing.
