The Voodonala Jeep JK Phone Holder Installed Easy In My 2015 JK Objects In The Tray Rattle
The Voodonala Jeep JK Phone Holder installed easy in my 2015 JK. For people that had difficulty, the mounting screw is Under the stock tray After you Remove it. The replacement tray is plastic so some things in it set up an annoying rattle. I am going to modify the stock rubber tray to fit and quiet the rattling. I found the phone holder stalk fit too tight so I de-burred the hole carefully with a sharp edge. The stalk now easily slides in and snaps into place as it should. So far the phone holder is performing very well and the removable stalk and small base make for an unobtrusive look when not in use. Thanks. DMWorrel

Cheap
I would give no stars if I could. Cheapest item I’ve bought in years. No installation instruction but figured it out on my own. Part says was made to fit my 2018 jeep jk rubicon but fits loosely does not stick down. Moves and rattles when I’m driving and does not fit securely at all. There’s a hole in one of the pieces as if to fit screw to support it together but no screw was included. Just a horrible item all together!!! I wish I could get a refund without repackaging and returning to the post office. I’m in rural country and it’s 45 min to my nearest post office. Just not worth the hassle. I got ripped off!

I didn’t like the piece that held the phone…..
The actual phone holder seems cheap and I didn’t like that it didn’t retract. You have to just spread it apart to get your phone in and out. Luckily, the ball joint was the basic size so I took the phone holder off an older one and it worked. The base that connects to the jeep is cool. I read some say it seemed wobbly and mine was at first until I saw the hooks in the back that sit on the dash (shown in pics). You have to push them down so that clamp in the vents and then screw it in. It’s nice and snug now.I bought this for the tray as well as to hold my phone because I keep forgetting it on the dash. Serves it’s purpose and seems to work great

It actually fits my 15 JKU dash tray perfectly
I have tried 3 different phone holders before finding this one. You have to remove the rubber center tray and unscrew the black screw in the center. Then take the new piece , put it in place over the screw hole , put the old screw in and screw it down. Then insert the new tray in place . Finally snap the part that holds the phone into the base that you screwed down and you're good to go. My new I phone 13 fits perfectly even with my otter rubber case on the phone. Not sure that a 13 plus would fit with a protective case though.

Loose
Tiny screw holds the center pivot point that all the pressure is on to hold the cell phone from rotating. I used a jewelers philips driver to no avail to tighten.

Perfect, easy to install and sturdy as a rock
I recently purchased a 2013 Jeep Wrangler 2 door Sport. I searched stores and online for a phone holder mount for it. There really is no place to put a mount on the Jeep without glueing, sticking, or drilling. I finally came across ones that used the screw under the dash tray. Take out the tray, take out the screw and use the screw to hold the new mount. However, they seemed expensive $70 or more. I kept looking and found the Voodonala. It is perfect. Took me about 15 minutes to install it., It looks great and comes with a tray that fits. If you have read this far, just buy it
