Just impeccable. So much true flavor and aroma, I have to keep it in two layers of ziplock bag and the spice cabinet still smells a little like truffle when I open it. Have been enjoying it with cherry tomatoes. Do not consider any other truffle salt on here— this is the one!!

I am pleased with my purchase. Although a bit pricey for salt (I’m sure due to the addition of truffles) it is very tasty. Only downside is that the smell is VERY pungent… blows up the entire kitchen. Needs to be definitely contained properly.

Great seasoning salt for countless meals.

Makes things taste great! LOVE truffles! It's VERY STRONG and very smelly though! Less is more with this product! Will last a long time! Real salty. Again, less is more. You dont wanna use a lot. Like literally pinch your fingers in and sprinkle it over whatever dish you wanna flare up.

Delicious on food

This is first time I have bought or tried truffle salt. It comes in a glass jar with a tight lid. I could smell the unusual odor even before I opened the delivery box. I left it on kitchen countertop and wasn't long before whole kitchen took on the odor. I put the jar in a ziplock freezer bag. Then double bagged it. Still the odor overpowered the room. I put the jarred double bagged salt into an airtight storage container and can still smell it. I've only cooked with it once. It did seem to enhance the flavor of the meat I cooked however I used fresh garlic and other herbs. If I had read the one star reviews of people familiar with what truffle salt is suppose to smell and taste like I probably would not have purchased.

You could smell the truffle from outside the double package. This was a replacement purchase as Ihave gone through one already.

Have to edit my review. After a week or so of having the "black and white" truffle salt, this salt's foul chemical odor and chemical taste truly came out. I had to dump it out. 2,4 dithiapentane is actually a chemical compound that's in 99 plus percent of all these Amazon truffle salts. I just wanted some real and natural stuff. I've had the real deal truffle salt with only two ingredient's, salt and truffle. I know what it tastes like and I have had real fresh truffles as well and this salt is far from the real thing trust me. What a shame to pay this price and not get the real thing. This is an inflated price for sure. Yes it's artificial. 2,4-dithiapentane aka bis(methylthio)methane is an ingredient in most truffle products sold on here. It's a synthetic chemical compound that mimics truffle scent and flavor.
