USB Microphone Cable, ANDTOBO USB to XLR Female Mic Link Converter Cable Adapter - 10 Feet

I bought this cord as a replacement for my Aokeo Condenser Microphone’s cord that somehow disappeared from my possession between moves. The cord works and everyone that hears my voice from it says that my voice sounds crystal clear like I’m in the room with them. No hum, so I’m not sure what other reviews are saying that for. If you’re using this for streaming, use audio compression features to get rid of any extra sounds. Cord built very well, couldn’t destroy easily. Long enough for any setup, and works with Windows 10. I run an ASUS RoG laptop with it and it works like a champ. Would recommend to anyone.

Mostly feels like a quality product. The "on air" light on the cord is nice and visible, it may look a little like the clear plastic window will come off, but it never has. Had to order a second, because my son stole my first one for recording game instruction for his YouTube Channel. Other cables/dongles I have had of a similar feature set have left a horrible buzzing noise in my mic channel. So I swear by this one now. At least until my younger son starts recording HIS own YouTube videos... then I will probably need another. =)

I was having trouble with my mounted mic for months to the point where I thought it was something wrong with my computer. Like an update messed it up or something. I devolved into never using the mic and just a headset. But while recording it was hard to hear me and same with in calls. People would complain. I assumed this was just my life now so I went on. Well one day someone new came in and complained again so I was like UGH I will try one more time to fix my mic. I could get it to work now BUT there was background static that no amount of filters could get rid of. That is when I realized it could be the connection/cord. So I got on Amazon and ordered one with decent reviews and when it got here everything worked really well as soon as I plugged it in and made it default again. Very happy with my decision and will likely start to record again. XD

Good quality item.

We're finding more and more scenarios where desktop and laptop computers aren't coming with built in microphone ports and this presents a challenge when you're looking to have professional mic equipment hooked up to a PC. We used this to plug in a wireless mic array to a PC so we could have meetings in person and offered online at the same time. The converter box on the cable is a bit bulky and has a very short lead from the USB side, it would have been nice to have the converter part connect to a USB A to USB B cable instead, allowing for custom length options to be used because it's so short and bulky on the USB side. It's still a great product and I appreciate the fact there is a solution like this and that the sound coming through is so good.

Despite what the product description claims, this cable is NOT compatible with PS2/PS3/WII/XBOX. which is the only reason I purchased this item to use my current dynamic mics for certain games on PS2, Xbox 360, and XBOX and none of them detect the cable. I did test it with my PC and it does connect but only after drivers are installed, so YES, this requires drivers to run meaning it will NOT work with any console. Frankly, I dont need it for PC as I already own quality interfaces for recording and this has a nasty hum too. I just wanted it for console play only so I wouldn't have to buy some cheap toy mic. Luckily, Amazon will refund me with no hassle but sellers, don't claim your product can do something when it cant, and buyers don't buy this product as it wont work for consoles and it sounds horrible connected to the computer.

I got this to connect an XLR feed directly to Mevo Boost, and it works great. I was setting this up to run a live stream of my local church's services, and it makes things easy. Just plug in each week and we can use the "house" feed directly into the stream. I strongly recommend it for this purpose - converting audio feed from XLR to USB.

Don’t get this. It’s not terrible like it works ok but you could get way better ones.
