Bosch WAJ28008GB Washing Machine, 7kg Capacity, SpeedPerfect, 1400rpm spin, White, Serie 2, Freestanding [Energy Class D]

We are vey pleased with this machine that works notedly more quietly and runs more energy efficiently than the machine on which we until very recently relied. Significantly the machine enables us, through a nuanced means of programming, to take a fuller view of the environmental issues than before. It makes laundry more convenient, less costly and more environmentally friendly. It represent a desirable combination of technological advance and environmental consideration.

We purchased this Bosch washing machine for my daughter and her new house and we are very happy with it. We have always liked Bosch equipment as it is reasonably priced but the equipment is always very reliable in our experience.It's reasonably quite, washes and spins clothes well and looks as good as any other 'white washing machine'.The option to be able to pause the wash to put any missed items in is very good.The normal cycles can be pretty long (2.5 - 3hours!) but there is a 'Quick' option which can reduce this dramatically (40-45 minutes for some programmes) - although it supposedly uses more energy (not sure how a 45minute program uses more than a 3hour...).Well recommended.

+ clothes come out almost touch dry+ doesn't jump about just shudders quietly when spinning+ can post pone the wash to use economy 7 electricity+ can be extremely economical (I let clothes soak in biological detergent for a few hours then run a rinse)One downside is that it won't do duvets except maybe single summer-thin ones.

Normal wash programmes from 45 minutes to 3hrs!!!! (cant say we'll ever use that one, well apart from just now as recommended first wash.)£369 delivered in 2 days, slotted in nicely and now my first impression is its quiet.Which said it washed well so we bought it.It has a brushless motor which means none to wear, ( mind the last ones lasted 10 years).2 year guarantee, parts and labour incl. extend for £99 for further 3 years.Hopefully last 16 years like the last John Lewis badged Bosch machine.4 stars as no history yet.

Just got the machine - its a bosch so I think it will be alright - just wanted to say the installation by the two men was quick, efficent and a pleasant experience. They took the old machine away, tidyed up and left. Thank you

Works well, the most silent machine I have ever used. Not all the program cleans well, but I have found the most suitable for me. Only problem was with it, at the time of purchase, the site didn't let me choose the installation option, as when I clicked on it, the page didn't let me go further, didn't matter what date I choosed. Actually this site problem saved me 40 £, as my friend came and installed it for free, hence I didn't take out any star. I recommend the product and the seller, and there was no problem with the delivery, which we have a lot in this area.

... when my faithful old Bosch gave up the ghost - just after I'd bought a new fridge freezer (also Bosch). Not the Bosch's fault, a supposed engineer replaced the door seal which resulted in a flooded kitchen.So we decided to replace rather than repair - it runs quietly and economically, very pleased.
