Best Shoe Purchase
First let me say that these are the AUTHENTIC Birkenstocks. They took about a week and a half to arrive from Germany. They came USPS.I normally wear a 9 1/2 to 10 and i ordered a 40M and they fit perfect. I didn’t go with the narrow because I was to scared they would be too tight...I'm glad I went with the Normal width.These shoes are stylish, really comfortable, and sturdy shoes. They do take about 3 days to break in, but once you do they really mold to your foot.Highly recommend these to everyone~

These are comfy and wonderful support. Great wardrobe addition and perfect for my hand knitted socks for my southern early spring and fall weather.

Make sure you order at least a size smaller
I am a men's size 7 which would be a size 40 according to the conversion size. I have since learned from reviews that Birkies...at least the Arizona model that I ordered, comes a bit larger than your true size. Most of the reviews that agrees with me orders a size smaller...after having the opportunity to actually try on the size 40 which was sent to me (they were really really huge), I sent them back (thank you customer service for the free returns) and took a chance and reordered a pair not one but TWO sizes smaller. They were perfect...as far as the size was concerned. Unfortunately, this one had a bit of a defect but I'm sure that customer service will once again take care of me. So in a nutshell, I would definitely order at least one size smaller (in my case 2) but either way, customer service was GREAT. Although it should be noted that these do come rather large, I still gave it 5 stars because the return service was great.

Great quality shoe
My Mom wore Birks for years. This is my first pair. I've been looking for a shoe that is durable, comfortable & has fewer chemicals involved. After surgery on my right foot years ago it's hard to find a shoe that works. I know Birks can last for years & that is durable & sustainable to me. This won't be the last pair I buy!

Comfortable sandal, good arch support
Got these primarily for their arch support, which Birkenstock totally delivers on.The sizing is strange, and the conversion chart doesn't really line up for me. I wear a US Men's 9-9.5, but size 40 is still slightly too big for me (which is mapped to US Men's 7-7.5). So there may be some trial and error in finding your size.Excellent width for those of us with wide feet.

great cutomer service
Great customer service!!! I'm really happy with these. I wear a 9 1/2 in women's and ordered a 39. They fit ok by I had the slightest rub on my big toe. I decided to return them and they fit great. The exchange was effortless and the new pair was at my house in 2 days:)

After a few hours of wearing!
DISAPPOINTED! I have been wanting these sandles/slides for a while, purchased them for a trip. Turns out they were very uncomfortable! Will wear them still because they may have to be (broke in).

love love love my Birkenstocks
love love love my Birkenstocks. this is my second pair and the reason I got these is because of the molded cork insole. they're stiff at first but after they break in and mold to your foot shape, they are great and feel even better on my knees after long hours of standing. a classic shoe and Dwight schrute would agree.
