OhGoodness! Organic Honey Halva - 3 Pack - Paleo Friendly And SCD Approved - No Additives, Refined-Sugar, or Artificial Sweeteners - 75g Each (Assorted Flavors)

The honey and almond was absolutely delicious ! I wasn’t a fan of the espresso but that is because that’s not a normal flavor of Halva, but I did try it and the taste wasn’t my favorite but the texture and the way it was packaged was done well like the other two. Will definitely be buying the plain and other two regularly.

This halvah is really tasty, and reminds me of a brand that I used to get as a child called “Halvah mit hoenig”, a German brand that went out of business or was perhaps bought by this one. Unlike other forms of halvah, this is denser and can stick to your teeth if you chew on it too strongly, but this isn’t bothersome if you savor it. It basically has a better flavor than most halva because of the honey and the higher tahini content. These were packaged well and shipped promptly.

So far I have tried the honey one. I was surprised by how small the portions were on arrival and that the product didn't fill the container very well. The flavor is good enough but not very good. The texture was not right. It was too hard like it had been compressed into a board. Not light at all. Not fluffy at all. Not crumbly at all. Unusually difficult to break or deform with fingers. This is the halva of our affliction that our well meaning friend made without understanding the process. This is a sad imitation of goodness that pretends at virtue. This is pathetic. I will eat the rest and never purchase it again. The other two flavors, coffee and almond, were more malleable and a little bit more crumbly though really just mushy and putty like. The coffee flavor is strongly coffee with moderate sweetness. The almond was a bit too sweet. The range of sweetness between the three different flavors and the uneven filling and range of textures suggests an overall process control issue that suggests a lack of uniformity in manufacturing and results in mediocre to poor quality products.

I hadn't had Halvah in some time, and this was delicious. It made me remember why I loved Halvah so much. You can easily just break off a piece and eat it from the container.

Tasted good, but very small size for the price.
