My all time favorite jerky. Been buying this brand for years. I prefer a drier jerky than a moist one. Also, it has more natural flavor. I could eat a whole container in one sitting. The quality is really good. Most jerky has quite a bit of fat, but I haven't experienced that with this brand.

I don't know what all those "moist" beef jerky brands are doing but this is how it's supposed to be. Dry, tough, flavorful. Throw some in a bag or in your pocket and go out on a hike. It's better if you take small bites. Wish you'd get more for the price though.

I have a pellet stove and I’ve been cooking beef jerky peppered for the last two years tired of making it so I’ve been looking for it. This is the best that is out there 12 different ones. I love his jerky. The original was just a little salty for me, but the peppered version is perfect. This is exactly what jerky should be. This is super dry, chewy, and the perfect texture. Perfect to keep in my work van for a snack.

It's good. It's simple, cross hatch pattern for easy tearing. It's very dry. But not crumbly and stale! So you are getting actual meat for the money. Not moisture. If you do not like soft meat like jerkys like Jack links products. You like a jerky that you can pop and eat and chew for a while and taste the flavors appreciate, then you'd like this. Its a good jerky for the road. Not overly smoked. -style points because the pepper has no cling to the jerky whatsoever.
