My favorite brand of instant Korean rice. So easy to make fried rice with, 30 sec only in microwave. It saved hours of my time. The taste is great much chewier than other brands which I like. Also a much better price.

This 12 pack of white rice was priced at $23.99 at the time of my order; so $2 per container. This is a repeat purchase for our household. Rice isn't that expensive to purchase and make at home; but I prefer the convenience of the precooked/portioned bowls. I have these in my pantry at all times and use them for lunchboxes or quick meals. Just pair with something (I usually have soup dumplings or wontons) or enjoy by itself. The listing says this is a sticky rice; I find it to be normal...without sticky qualities. I've purchased a different brand that was true sticky rice and found it difficult to serve. Most important is that the taste is excellent. No off flavors, just pure, clean, cooked white rice.

Excellent product, cheaper than local Korean store.

Never tried this brand before but found it to be just as good as another white rice brand. The taste, texture and most of all value. Will probably order again.

Great time saver. Convenient. Good size. No mess

I found these the first time at a Japanese grocery in Waikiki. 90 seconds and really, you can’t make rice any better in a top end rice cooker. I know it not gourmet, but I dump a can of mackerel on the cooked rice, a dash of soy, Chinese vinegar, Crispy chilli oil and furikake and I’m eating a super satisfying hot meal in 2 minutes. I sometimes cook the rice in the morning and immediately tuck the in opened bowl into a sealed container with my toppings and fish. At lunch I combine it all and though it’s not piping hot, it’s still a delicious and satisfying meal.

I have subscribed to received regularly, we love it because it is easy to prepare whenever you are in a rush or in our case limited time to cook because electricity when off during the day and it is late and we are hungry. It taste excellent!

Honestly, I love this rice. Not sure what smell the other reviews were talking about but this doesn’t emit any smell (have done multiple orders). I love that these are easy to prepare, open it a little in the corner and just pop into the microwave. I prefer to just pop it in for 1:30 instead of the 2 minutes instructed, specially if I’m gonna end up reheating the other half sometime later. To those not familiar with this purple rice, it is a mix of white rice and black grain rice. The white rice has a soft fluffy texture but expect the black rice grains to be more earthy and grainy. Nonetheless, this is one of the best quality ready to eat rice I’ve tried (I prefer this over the other popular brand). Definitely worth the buy.

You guys need to look into the storage place of these products. They smell like mothball. Even worsen after heated.

Product arrived quickly, which is much appreciated but I don’t love the taste of the rice.
