EXUS 77mm Lens Protect 77 Marumi Antistatic MC Slim Thin Filter Protector Made in Japan

This is my second Exus lens protect. I bought first one for my Zeiss 18mm for Sony. The lens diamiter is 77mm, but I almost never wiped the surface of the filter because nothing sticks! It is not very thin filter, but I love it so much, so I got this one for my new 70-200 lens. Marumi is not well known brand like Hoya in the US, but they are specialized for only filters. I purchased quite few filters from them besides Exus and they are all made in Japan. I highly recommend for this Exus series.

I wanted a way to protect the lens of my p600 while not distorting the image. This does it!I'll also add that what this allows me to do is clean my lens protect instead of having to clean my actual camera lens. This is highly advantageous because the lens protect is very easy and inexpensive to replace where is my lens for my camera is not.In the course of day today use I have not noticed that it distorts or as artifacts to the pictures I'm taking. In fact I pretty much forgotten that I even have it on. To say I recommend it is sort of an understatement.

High transparency and gives me a bit of insurance on expensive lenses that I use in the toughest conditions.

Been using Marumi for a while and this filter does not disappoint. Protects my lenses and does not cause any image issues.However, I dropped the rating by one star because this is advertised as a slim thin filter which led me to believe that it would be fine to use on my wide angle lens, however there is noticeable vignetting (although only a small amount) at 17mm on full frame. So, beware of that if this is your intended use for this filter.

You won't even know it is there...until it saves you from disaster.

The filter arrived on time and in perfect condition. I haven't used it extensively or tested its ability to repell water and ink, but I have not seen any issues with its quality. Marumi was a new name to me, but a little research turned up lots of positive reviews. This appears to be a top-of-the-line filter at a great price.

Very helpful in our extremely dusty conditions. Filter stayed WAY cleaner than our others, and was easy to clean with just a puff of an air bulb and light brushing. Coatings held up under tough conditions.

レビューが良かったので購入しましたが、開封してがっかりしました。小さなチリが無数についていて、〔ブロアーで拭いても飛ばないチリ〕線傷のようなものも確認しました。とても新品とは思えないものでした。Amazonでは粗悪品や返品された商品をそのまま新品として販売しいる可能性があると思います。注意が必要です。

SEL2470GMとSEL1635GMに使用しています。薄枠で単体ではケラレたりしません。映り込みも気になったことがないので非常に重宝しています。レンズガードとしては高めの商品ですが相手が高いレンズなので前玉になにかぶつかって割れてしまうのを防いでくれる点や砂丘で砂嵐に巻き込まれた際にサンドブラストを防いでくれたりと安心を買っていると思えば安いものです。2470GMに同EXUSのC-PLを同時装着するとガッツリではないですが若干周辺減光のようにケラれます。付け替えは必須です。

多少高価ですが、透明度が高く、汚れがつきにくく取れやすいので良いです。衝撃があったとしてもレンズを守ることができるので、レンズプロテクターは必須です。

多少値段は張りますが、ほこりが全く付かないし汚れたとしても軽く拭けばすぐに汚れが落ちてしまうので気に入っています。もう一つの売りの強度についてはまだ分かりませんが、いつかわかる日が来るでしょう(笑)

装着具わい質感ともに予想どうりで満足です。汚れも着きにくく指紋も簡単に拭き取れました。
