You've looked at dozens of these, right - so why this one? OK,...
There are so many of these things I looked at. Most are tempered glass bases which do look nice but almost all of those included a review showing a shattered base and broken TV! So I decided that metal or wood, not glass, was a better way to go. Beyond that, having several options on height and the correct VESA fit were the other considerations.Pros:- parts nicely packed, all screws labeled- everything fits together well - easy assembly- sturdy; post screws into base which has a metal frame underneath to receive screws- exceptional swivel - many are 30 degrees or less, this one is 40- wooden base that won't shatter like many of the glass versions- lots of screw sizes and lengths for the VESA holes - the M8x15 worked perfectly on my 2021 Samsung 42 QLED.- instructions were very clear and easy to follow notably indicating which screw sizes to use.- no side to side leveling issues.- cable management works pretty well - much better than what Samsung provided which was useless. - included an HDMI cable - lol!Cons:- the wooden base is poorly finished which is a shame as it otherwise looks great. I had to hit mine with some black spray paint across the front edge that was showing a good bit of the "particle board" grain. That was the first thing I did. It looks much better, but it's still just particle board. The top is finished well, but not the sides.- the hinge creates a slight backward tilt. I did notice my TV, 42 Samsung QLED, tilts back on the legs that came with it - about the same tilt as the stand provides, so maybe that is a "feature" to prevent tipping forward. That said, the TV is so light that I don't think it will tip and I used washers (shown in photo) to shim the top screws where the swivel mounts to the pole to take out the tilt. This looks better than shimming the TV mounting VESA brackets. My next choices would have been the Amazon basics (cost more and no published dimensions) and Sanus (nice, but overkill for my TV) with metal bases but I was hoping this one would work well enough and save some $$ - so far, so good.

Holds my 55 inch TV nice and high
I was looking for a TV stand with a small footprint to fit on top of a wooden furniture and that could hold a 55 inch TV. This TV stand seems reasonably priced for the specs I’m looking for.The package was small but has everything you’ll need. All the components are made of steel, which is a good thing unlike other TV stands that has a glass base. The components are nicely painted with a smooth black finish. The base and the body have a very good weight in it. It is heavy and sturdy enough to keep the TV firmly in place. Assembly was very easy, took me only between 5 to 10 minutes to fully assemble this. I like that it includes all the different screws for VESA mounting that may be needed for different TV models. I’ll keep them safe in case I change TVs. Putting the TV on the stand and securing it was a little tricky depending on the size of the TV. For a 55 inch TV, you’ll definitely need a helping hand to properly align and mount the TV in place. Once the TV was mounted, I was able to carry the entire TV along with the TV stand to put them on top of the wooden furniture. I did put some belt on the back of the TV then attached it to the wooden furniture just in case an earthquake hits, it will be firmly secured. I chose the maximum height this TV stand can provide to get a more relaxing viewing angle. I love that I can swivel the stand left and right so that I can view the TV while I’m eating at the kitchen.Overall, I am very happy with my purchase. I was able to complete my setup in less than 30 minutes. I’m thinking of having all my TVs to use this TV stand (except for the 65 inch). If you are looking for a simple yet sturdy TV stand, this stand is a very good option.

As advertised.
I ordered this stand to replace the fixed legs that came with my 43" screen. Delivery was on time. All the stand parts were provided, including extra fasteners sized for multiple screen models. Packaging was tight, protective and secure.Printed directions were helpful and easy to follow. I took my time with the assembly and spent about half an hour on it. The base is not only wooden but is reinforced with steel channels underneath. Large rubber feet protect whatever surface the stand is placed on. The finished stand is extremely sturdy. The screen side-to-side pivoting capability is very convenient and works smoothly. There is no provision to tilt the screen forward or backward, but that was not a promised feature. Not complaining, just letting you be aware. There is a range of heights the screen can be fixed above the base that would vary according to the size of the screen. To change the height of the screen above the base would require disassembling and reassembling much of the stand. It would take a little time to do, but it is an option. All the parts: steel, base and fasteners, are black. The result is a very attractive and functional stand. Exactly what I wanted and I am 100% satisfied with the purchase.

Ticks All the Boxes
I bought this because it said it was for a curved 55-inch screen, and also because I wanted a stand you could swivel and had a wooden base. This ticked all the boxes.I was a bit daunted when I first opened the box and saw how many bits there are, but laying them out and comparing them to the leaflet that came with it, things became a lot clearer. Thankfully the screws, spaces, etc are all clearly marked and separated in their own individual plastic bags, though I would have liked a few spare screws etc as some are small and fiddly and easily lost if not careful. The illustrations are mostly easy to follow, and I had no real problems doing so.I used a small spacer on the bottom of the arm connecting to the back of the screen, and a large spacer at the top (remember this is a curved screen and you need spacers). This was to counteract the slight tilting back of the screen reported elsewhere. The result is a really nice stand for my new (second hand) TV. The previous owner of the TV had it on the wall and lost the stand, thus making this a necessary buy. I have some boisterous young relatives, so if I fear they might topple the set, I can screw the wooden stand into the table its sitting on – something you can’t do with the glass platforms most of the other stands come with.I am well pleased with this purchase, and would recommend it to others who have the same needs.

Fits my LG 32" TV ( LG 32LM6300 )
Got this for my new TV because I'm using it as a pc monitor and wanted to raise the height. When I unpacked it I thought that some bits were missing but they weren't. The two uprights that fasten on to the TV were packed with, and fastened to, the larger horizontal piece. My error but not seeing black on black through the wrapping is understandable. Other than that I was impressed how the bits came separately packed and labelled. My next problem was fitting these uprights to the TV because the TV swells out at the base and the two straight metal pieces did not seem to fit. Another schoolboy error - when I checked the diagram again it was obvious that this is what the spacers are for - they raise one end up so that the uprights lie flat. The assembly was easy, you will need a cross head screwdriver by the way, and I had the stand put together in no time but I had to undo the locking device and fiddle with it a bit because the HDMI, aerial, internet and other sockets were hidden by the horizontal bar to which the TV is attached. A minor bit of fiddling but I could have kicked myself for not spotting this as I screwed in the locking thingumyjig. It's advertised as not showing fingerprints and that does seem to be the case but being black it does show the dust. All in all a good looking, solid stand that's almost idiot proof.

Well made product but scope for design improvement
Medium stand purchased. Chosen for 40in TV(samsung) and preferred as it had black MDF base rather than glass. Very well made and comes with large selection of TV fittings and clear diagrams...but had to use fittings that came with TV as stand supplied washers etc didn't fit Samsung. Stand itself is very sturdy and easily supports TV with no wobble. Fitting sound bar was a challenge and then only just room for small "set top box"(DVD) underneath.Main criticisms: Pivots horizontally but no vertical(pitch) adjust. (It has small roughly 5degree pitch up) Vertical "adjustment" is coarse and requires unbolting mount from pillar. Crude. Would have preferred pitch adjust to horizontal but stands are available with both. Secure fixing of TV to stand is via 2 clips and bolts. This works fine but a nylon/plastic finger operated clip would be better. Cable guides are a waste of time - but have yet to find a product that doesn't have this issue.Rate it: 4+ stars - considering the price (less than £30 - Oct '20) it works well, is very sturdy and looks tidy but expected better design with easier ways to adjust tilt and height. I'd buy again if I only wanted a basic stand.

Sturdy base, looks good
Got son to assemble it, I'm 74, female, not good at assembling things! He did it fairly quickly, no problems, seems sturdy and tv looks secure. Bought as alternative to legs on new tv being too wide to sit on unit. Fixing to wall too complicated so this seemed answer to problem. Looks fine, like wood base, good product, happy with purchase.

Highly recommended.
Perfect stand for my new 55” OLED. Wanted a wooden base as glass base is an accident waiting to happen. A dropped cup, an ornament falls over and there’s glass everywhere and the tv is in bits all over the floor.Fits on top of the Cambridge Audio speaker nicely.Too many new tv’s come with little delicate feet which mean you cannot easily rotate the display off axis. This stand solves this problem with a good swivel capability. The locking clamps make mounting the tv easy once the rear frame is attached on the VESA mounting points.Delighted with the quality and build.
