Good practice amp
The first time I ordered this It came in broken. It wasn’t the sellers fault I’m pretty sure it happened in shipping. I got a replacement order for it and the second one came in just fine. It’s a good practice amp, decent sound for how small it is. I’m very happy with it.

Mini amp, major sound
I'm a beginner, but this is a small amp and it is loud. Easy to store or pack up and bring on the go and sounds really good, just make sure you mess around with the settings to get the desired sound

Works better at 12 V!!!
Like many of us, I need to spend more time practicing guitar rather than playing with a pedalboard of effects. Hence, my interest in a simple, little battery practice amp. I play almost exclusively through headphones. I already have several VOX Amplugs. They sound very good, but the controls are tiny and fiddly and I'm constantly knocking them around. The Orange Crush Mini seemed a worthy contender. All I want is a good clean tone and some distortion, sounding good from a headphone jack. I have not used the Orange Crush Mini speaker, nor have I plugged it into another cab (I don't own one). My first issue after popping in the included 9 V battery is that the clean tone breaks up so easily I couldn't really get a totally clean sound. Since the manual says the rear input may be 9 V or 12 V, I tried going from 9 V battery to a 9 V power supply, to a 12 V power supply. At 12 V, it cleans up nicely. But this detracts from portability if you need a regulated 12 V power supply with it. So, with those caveats, here are my pros and cons.Pros:1. Nice clean tone (if you run it at 12 volts, see cons).2. Great build quality (real wood and metal case with basketweave front, just like a bigger amp).3. Distortion is unique (I like it, but some may find it a bit fuzzy sounding, tastes vary).4. Traditional Orange amp sound in a tiny box.5. Built in tuner.6. Simple, easy to use control layout.7. Looks very nice, not like some plastic piece of junk.Cons:1. Very fussy about power. A switching power supply will generate huge amounts of noise. You must use a smooth, linear regulated power supply (or battery, of course).2. At higher gain, through headphones, the volume control has only a tiny range where it goes from inaudible to ear splitting. Be careful there.3. Its 12V power needs make it less useful as a portable amp, unless you are OK with no completely clean tone.4. As is common to most Orange amps, it does clean, and it does distortion, but it does not do a light breakup or soft clipping tone at all very well. Orange-style distortion is very hard and fuzzy and you may not like it.In conclusion, I will keep the Orange Crush Mini around for some applications. However, I'm shopping around for a more versatile practice amp that just plugs into the wall and has a good cab-emulated headphone out.

Solid Practice Amp
This thing is awesome. Obviously you’re not gonna rattle the walls with this thing but for practice, especially with headphones, you can’t beat it. Mobile enough to take in the car on trips to not waste precious practice time or take up too much space.

Well worth the price
This little amp packs a punch without breaking the bank! Good build quality and the sound is wonderful for a little practice amp!
