Exactly what I was looking for.

I like this book.

This isn't my favorite Science book - almost too easy or basic for 2nd grade. I think the Young Scientist Science program/projects are more fun as they are about doing things and learning concepts that way.

Perfect for teaching seasons

I have used this in my homeschool curriculum for 2nd grade, and I highly recommend it. It is a mix of information and applying the information to questions and activities they have in the book. It IS reproducible... which is really nice if you are into that. Personally, I just went onto the Lorenz (Milliken) site and downloaded the eBook for 8.00... and now I have a PDF on my computer which I can print out easily each year for my younger students. Much easier than copying each page each year. :D
