This works very well for my dog's digestion, as her pancreas doesn't make its own enzymes well. I use at the recommended dose and let her dry food soak with it about half an hour. I love how it is less expensive than the premium brand because she HAS to use this to digest anything... between this and her special food, it adds up over a decade, you know? I also appreciate the larger grain of it (compared to the $$brand) works better and safer. it drops down into the water to dissolve and mix with food instead of blowing in the air or sitting on top of the water. Also, i had to wear a mask with the old kind because it was so fine it clouded into the air and breathing in both the enzymes and the mammal product which i am allergic to, kept giving me horrible asthma. this measures and sinks and dissolves with almost no dust in the air, yay!Edit: I'm still trusting this brand, and I buy in the biggest containers. My dog is now 13 and the ver is very impressed at her health for her age. Her breed life expectancy is 10 to 14 years, and she's still bouncy like a puppy. It used to work, after the first order of this powder the dog started gaining weight and got energy to run around. But the second and third order had a different label on the bottle and looks like ingredients changed too. My dog started loosing weight again, the powder is just making him pee a lot. Waste of money
