I make my own capsules (by hand) with anywhere from 3-8 drops of oregano oil (depending on what I'm using it for), then I fill the rest of the individual gel capsules with either MCT oil or olive oil. Oregano Oil is a HOT oil. If you want to take 1-2 drops under the tongue, you can, but it's better if mixed with a carrier if you intend to continue that routine. Being a hot oil can be a deterrent to continued use if not mixed with a carrier. Also, it's an oil so it doesn't mix with water or other beverages. I take in capsule form. I don't use a capsule machine for these, just individually by hand. (I only use the capsule machine for dry supplements.) But for the Oregano Oil capsules, I make 100 or more in advance and keep in a dark amber jar in the cabinet. It is especially good for ridding the lungs of any mucus infection if you have a chest cold or if COPD is an issue or even if you have mucus due to allergies. It is a natural antibiotic, can help lower cholesterol, powerful antioxidant anthelmintic (anti parasite), help protect against leaky gut, may help fight against "recnac" (word spelled backwards), antiviral, antifungal, anti-inflammatory. I use it every day for the rare form of psoriasis (PPP) that I developed a few years ago. I am allergic to steroids so without this, I would not be able to walk. It has totally reversed my PPP psoriasis symptoms. I use a drop of this and tea tree oil with coconut oil for my teeth and gums. It is also safely used in pets with fungal infections and can be used with a carrier oil (always when topically applied) on the site, and can be used after their bath (1tsp to one gallon of warm water) and poured over your pet afterwards as a way to help control fleas etc.

Do your own research. Tho this is condensed steam distilled oil, people on the Mediterranean eat it all the time. Be respectful of its abilities but there is absolutely zero need to be afraid of it.
