A great little "invisible" sliding door lock.
We had to a little redesigning to get it to work, but I like this lock much better than the standard sliding door pull/lock system. We needed to build up the lock by using a small piece of wood against the door, then mounted the lock on top of it.

Seemingly insignificant details.
I like the concept and simplicity of this sliding door bolt. After installation, I attempted to test the bolt. The screws supplied both sheered off. Snapped off because of weak screws. I replaced them with screws purchased at the hardware store. Unfortunately I had to put extra work in relocating the bolt in order to avoid the broken off screws which can't be removed.

Where’s the directions and measurements???
Great idea and well made. However, it would have been nice if directions with some measurements came with the lock. Trial and error will make it work.

It works
The product works great but it would have been nice if there were some written instructions. Or at least a picture. It wasn't too difficult to figure out. Googling and some posted pictures made it clearer.

Bolt very hard to push-out
We bought door bolt in speciality store some time ago and it works perfectly. This one we ordered for another pocket-sliding door. You really need to use some force to push it out. Feather-touch action??? It is just not working very well. Is this the same product that other people gave good reviews?? It seems to be made of some heavy metal alloy - could it be lead? There is a warning on the label about cancer and reproductive system harm. It would be helpful if there is information about where a product is made. I did not find any information about warnings either. Maybe it is not a big deal but I try not to use harmful products in my home.
