Sound is Great
Hooked this horn up on my 1959 Larson All American 16ft runabout. Small boat, Big horn! The irony is great. Installation is pretty straightforward.

Worth it
Well worth $25. Installed underneath a Club Car golf cart. Has metal horns that are threaded in vs plastic. Very loud for such a small compressor.

Loud, affordable, and even better in pairs!
I picked up this dual trumpet air horn kit for my 2000 Toyota Rav4 AWD, and at $25.99, the price is definitely reasonable. If you are looking to replace a wimpy stock horn, this is a massive improvement. It’s significantly louder and sharper than what came with my Toyota, and it definitely gets people's attention on the road. That said, I have to be honest about the "150db Train Horn" description. If you just install one kit, it’s loud, but it doesn't actually compete with a real train. It's a great horn, but the "locomotive" claim is a bit of an exaggeration for a single set. Pro-tip for the real "Train" sound: If you are buying this specifically because you want that earth-shaking train volume, buy two sets (four horns total). I installed two full kits on my vehicle, and with all four horns blasting together, it is a total game-changer. Combined, they are extremely loud and, in my opinion, hit a decibel level that is closer to—if not louder than—an actual locomotive. Bottom line: For $25.99, it's a solid buy. If you want it to actually sound like a train, grab two! **Community Q&A for "150db Super Loud Dual Trumpet Air Horn Kit"** Q: Can I install two of these kits on a single vehicle? A: Yes! I actually installed two sets (four horns total) on my 2000 Toyota Rav4 AWD. If you want that true "locomotive" volume, doubling up is the way to go. Just keep in mind that with two compressors running, you’ll likely want to use a dedicated relay and heavier gauge wiring to ensure they get enough power directly from the battery without blowing a fuse. Q: Is the 12V compressor included, and is it easy to mount? A: Yes, each kit comes with its own small 12V compressor. They are relatively compact, which made fitting two of them under the hood of my Rav4 manageable. You just need a solid metal surface to bolt them to so they don't vibrate too much. Q: Do I need to buy extra air tubing if I’m installing four horns? A: The kits come with enough tubing for a standard dual-horn setup, but if you’re mounting two sets in different areas of the engine bay, you might want to pick up a few extra feet of clear vinyl tubing from a hardware store to make sure your routing is clean. Q: Did you have to modify the factory horn wiring? A: For a single kit, you can often trigger the relay using your factory horn wires. For my dual-set (four horn) setup, I used the factory horn wire as a "trigger" for a larger 30-amp or 40-amp relay. This ensures both compressors hit full power at the same time without straining the original Toyota wiring circuit. Q: How much louder is this than a standard SUV horn? A: One set is a noticeable upgrade over the stock Rav4 horn—it’s punchier and more "piercing." However, the real jump happens when you combine two sets. Together, they are extremely loud and much closer to the decibel level of a real train than a single kit alone. If you’re syncing two kits (four horns and two compressors), the goal is to make sure they both hit full power simultaneously without blowing your factory 2000 Toyota Rav4 fuses. Here is a guide to getting that massive sound safely. **Quick Start: Dual-Kit Wiring Guide.** To get the most "locomotive" volume, you need to draw power directly from the battery using a 40-Amp Automotive Relay. This prevents the high draw of two compressors from melting your stock horn wiring. The Wiring Setup (The "Sync"): •Pin 30 (Battery): Run a thick wire (12 or 10 gauge) directly to the Positive (+) terminal of your battery. Install a 30A or 40A inline fuse here for safety. •Pin 87 (To Compressors): Run this to the Positive (+) terminal on both compressors. You can "daisy chain" them together. •Pin 85 (Ground): Connect this to a clean, unpainted bolt on the Rav4 chassis. •Pin 86 (The Trigger): Connect this to your original factory horn wire. When you press the steering wheel, it tells the relay to pull power from the battery to the compressors. •Compressor Grounds: Ground the negative terminal of each compressor to the chassis as well. **Pro-Tip: Using a relay ensures both compressors get the same high voltage at the exact same time, which is what gives you that unified, "train-like" blast instead of a staggered sound. ***Best Mounting Spots: 2000 Toyota Rav4 AWD.*** The first-generation Rav4 (XA10) has a decent amount of engine bay space, but fitting four horns and two compressors requires some strategy. 1. Behind the Front Grille (The "Loudest" Spot) Why: There is a gap between the radiator and the front grille. Mounting them here ensures the sound isn't muffled by the hood or engine components. How: Bolt the trumpets to the vertical support beam in front of the radiator. Point them downward at a slight angle so water doesn't collect inside the trumpets. 2. Passenger Side Firewall / Near the Strut Tower Why: There is usually an open area near the firewall on the passenger side. This is a great spot to mount the compressors specifically. How: Mounting the compressors here keeps them away from excessive road spray and heat, which helps them last longer. You can then run the air tubing forward to the horns. 3. Inner Fender Wells (Driver Side) Why: Near the air intake/battery area, there are several existing threaded holes in the inner fender. How: You can use a simple "L-bracket" from a hardware store to mount the trumpets here if the grille area is too tight. ***A Quick Safety Check:*** •Angle the Horns: Always point the "mouth" of the horns toward the ground (about a 15-20 degree tilt). This prevents rain or car wash water from sitting in the base and ruining the compressor. Vibration: Make sure the compressors are bolted tightly. If they rattle against the frame, the sound will be less "crisp."

Unbelievable Sound Power! Perfect for Any Vehicle!
I recently installed the 150db Super Loud Dual Trumpet Air Horn Kit on my truck, and I am absolutely thrilled with the results! The installation was straightforward, and the included compressor works like a charm. The sound is incredibly loud and clear—definitely turns heads and gets attention on the road. Whether you're driving a truck, car, or even a boat, this horn is an absolute game-changer. I love the aggressive and bold sound, which makes merging onto busy highways and warning other drivers a breeze. Plus, the sleek black design looks great under the hood! Overall, I highly recommend this air horn kit to anyone looking for a reliable, high-quality horn that delivers an ear-piercing blast. You won’t regret this purchase!

Not as loud as advertised
Decently loud but often has a high pitch squeal when activated. This does not sound like a semi or a train horn, size is about what I expected, but you get what you pay for.

Nice sounding horns
Nice and loud, easy to install. These horns have a nice sound that's plenty loud, without being too loud. They were easy to install, though the relay block didn't work correctly, though I was able to fix that. I like the tone of these horns, and they were priced right! They fit right in behind the grill (see picture), so it was easy to install.

Doesn't work. Finally got around to trying to set this up after 3 months sitting on my shelf... I know, my bad. And nothing happens when you connect it to a battery. The horn works if you have really strong lungs and can blow through the tube hard enough, lol. But, the compressor makes no noise and the relay doesn't seem to be doing anything either. Worse, it's supposed to have a 12 month warranty, but there seems to be no way to actually contact the seller, even though the overly simply "manual", if you can call the 2 page pamphlet a manual, says to contact them for support, it doesn't provide any way to do so. All the Amazon links lead to preprinted trouble shooting text, or to texting that leads to Amazon customer service. Maybe that will help somehow, but I can't find any way to actually reach HK or the seller.

IMPRESSED!
Had some reservations and did a lot of research! There are hundreds of these type horns available. Research paid off! Whenever possible look for an item with a video and sound. Installation was typical. The quality is pretty good! The actual compressor pump is most impressive! Qucik responce with aubstanstial output! I wired mine to a switch in the dash and an RF switch. I placed the horns under a headlight facing to center grill openings. Very LOUD!! Expect some negative responces from people! Especcialy since they likely stained themselves!! :-)

This is a weaponised horn lol . I had one on my truck before and this slightly smaller version fitted my Q5. Car horns these days are like toy horns , totally useless. I would caution you be thoughtful about its use because it will give people a fright .

originally bought a Fiamm unit from Princess Auto, but it turned out to be defective. I decided to try something from Amazon instead, and I’m glad I did. This unit is built much better, with more metal components compared to the plastic on the Fiamm. It sounds great and was very easy to install
