Under ArmourMen's Packaged Base 4.0 1/4 Zip

I have the Under armor 4.0 bottoms and top. The bottom is very tight, nice and stretchy. The top is a bit loose. As such, it's not as warm as it could be, but it worked well for me as I was able to use an old-school white 'waffle' long john underneath, and then put the Under armor on the top. Made my costume nice and warm when it was 50mph wind and 45 degrees.The zip makes it easy to get over.It LOOKS like regular stretch tops, but it's very slightly 'fleecy' which makes it nice and warm.If you want it to fit skin tight, check the size of the top.

For several years my go to base layer for cold weather was a set of "waffles" from an "airsoft" brand but I found that I found them to be bulky and a little sloppy looking for my needs. After some research I decided to shell out for a set of these and it was one of my best decisions. They fit very well and they are super warm without the bulk. One of my best purchases!

My husband has owned the 3.0 for 10 years & decided it was time to upgrade ! There is nothing wrong other than normal wear with the 3.0’s , he just wanted to purchase the 4.0’s since we are going to be in a colder climate than usual for winter ! If the 4.0’s are as good of quality as the 3.0’s, they’re worth every dime ! We purchased from Amazon because they were almost $20 cheaper per item than buying from a stand alone store !! They are great quality, the hubs says they feel great too !!

Very warm and feels great. Nice air flow so not sweating. Would pay more if I had to because these are the real deal. Military grade fabric that last.

A bit on the small side for me, but Perhaps this is normal? I typical wear a 2XL shirt. I’d like to say that this is because of my broad shoulders and incredible physique. However, it’s because of that extra helping of lasagna or maybe an extra glass or two of wine. I do have broad shoulders, but if that was all I had, everything would fit much better in these.So these are tight around my belly. Since these are effectively long underwear, you’ll want them tight. In my case, it’s also motivation to cut down a bit on my belly size too. Currently, it is uncomfortably tight on me. Can I blame this on the stay at home order and the endless supply of fruit loops available?

Outstanding cold weather base layer. Will purchase more next winter season.

Love it because it keeps my husband warm during these freezing temperatures.

I've been using the UA 4.0 base layers for years now to snowmobile in frigid temperatures, sometimes as cold as -5 air temp. When moving at speed, that temperature can be -40 or more. Before these, I used to wear too many underlayers to try and stay warm, but now, in almost all cases, all I wear are my base layers and then jacket and snowpants over. If it's below 0 air temp, I wear an extra synthetic layer on top for added heat retention. I'll never switch to anything else.

I purchased many of these Base Layers and this by far is the best. Works perfect for me when I am snowboarding or working in very cold temperatures.

Keeps you really warm in cold weathers

was excited to receive this in the mail, however, after gently opening the outer Amazon bag, it was disappointing to see the box was already savagely opened, and the shirt was already worn, or tried on at the very least, while the person was eating a snack of some sort, as there are crumbs on the shirt (see photos).This was the cheapest offer online for my size, only by about 15 bucks. So I had no clue this may or may not have been an open box item, as it was not stated as such. Shouldn't expect this from under armor.
