A clever, quirky book about one of the world's most beloved contemporary artists - aimed at young readers and written from Kusama's point of view! Yayoi Kusama covers her paintings in hundreds and hundreds of dots. Her dots come off her canvases to cover dresses, tables, walls, and more! She creates mirrored rooms and fills them with glittering balls and lights, until there is an infinity of dots - just like in her paintings. Fausto Gilberti brings movement, life, and whimsy to the true life story of one of the most important contemporary Japanese artists of our time - an artist who is still dazzling museum- and gallery-goers around the globe today. Ages 4 - 7 Review: Nicely told story with beautiful illustrations - I love this book. Great history of Kusama, in a really nicely told story. The illustrations of course are also just beautiful! Review: Fun book to explain the life of Yayoi to kids - Love these books, great to educate the young about contemporary artists

Let this artist inspire you.
Teachers, if you are looking for alternative ideas for the fall, look no further. Yayoi Kusama loved pumpkins and dots, totally inspiring for young children. I have inspired class after class and created many exciting 'happenings'.

Es un librito para niños
La verdad pensaba que era un libro para adultos. Aún siendo para niños, no vale la pena … son dibujos ni siquiera se muestra alguna fotografía de la obra de la artista.
