TDK SA90 High Bias Cassette tape
It's getting hard to find high bias cassette tape but these guys still have some good stuff. I use it to transfer music from vinyl LP format to tape, then capture the analog using my desktop computer sound card and an old Sony Walkman cassette player that still works fine. The freeware Audacity software using the MP3 plugin completes the re-format to digital that I can play on any modern music player, even (gasp) an iPod but I use a Sansa (so much cheaper and I can replace the battery myself). My stereo equipment is all about 25 years old, my turntable and speakers more like 35 years old. They all work fine. My pickup truck is a 1991 model with a cassette deck and no CD adapter; I've probably several hundred factory cassette tapes, far more than CD's. I did give away most of the old LP's, too scratched up to bother with. But I still have some good ones and need to convert them to digital, that is why I still need new blank tape once in a while. I got these tapes from "Recording Store", good price and service, I recommend them. The resulting MP3 files really sound great, I'm very pleased with the quality. Only problem is it take a couple hours to convert an entire LP. But I work cheap.

Got SA's of a Different Vintage
Purchased TDK SA's. Got TDK SA's. But a different vintage than the box pictured in the listing would imply. The tapes pictured in the listing appear to be from approximately 1992-1995. The tapes I received however, have the blue wrapper from about 1997-2002.So, still SA's. Good SA's. But be aware you may receive a different production year than images would imply.

Making my own music.
I always bought Maxell high bias and decided to try TDK high bias and some Sony, they seem to be very good tapes the sound is clear. I do a lot of recording off XM RADIO so I just pick my own song's when I don't like all song's from a CD

Delivery of order
Tapes arrived in the estimated time posted - we'll see what quality TDK brings considering that I've used Maxell in the past.

Thanks Amazon
I love to make tapes of the styles of music that i own. I had stooped for a while since retailer have stopped selling the TDK SA90 tapes. Thanks to Amazon I now can continue with my hobby. The tapes were delivered promtly and are of the high quality that I've always enjoyed.

Vocal Music Recording Favorite
High bias (Type II) is my preference for recording voice lessons. It's hard to get, so I was happy to find this 5-pack of TDKs. Too bad the product has been discontinued.
