Gevalia Majestic Roast Bold Dark Roast Ground Coffee (12 oz Bag)

This is by far my favorite brand of coffee and this one in particular is very very good.

I've had a lot of different coffees over the years, but this is a really good one. If you don't like a good strong cup of coffee in the morning, this might not be what you are looking for. I prefer espresso type coffees, but this is just fine for a French press, great bold flavor

Beautiful bold taste with no hint of bitterness or sourness. I have wasted much money trying various coffees and various roasts from all the major companies, and none of them compares to this. I used a variation of the French Press: a metal tea strainer that fits in my 8oz mug, with two coffee tablespoon measures for the mug, brewed for 4 minutes. Just the right grind. Altogether, better than drip brew, better than percolation. Awesome.

This coffee is so hard to find but if you can it’s worth it. Rich, smooth, delicious! Our family thinks it wins over other name brands hands down. Seller was great too

Well-packaged to retain freshness. A dark roast without any bitterness. Will buy again, especially since it’s as good, or better, than the two-tailed mermaid’s goods, yet less pricy. Recommend you give the Swedes’ product a try!

I was introduced to this coffee 25+ years ago at a kiosk in a shopping mall; brewed and served as an iced coffee. It is bold, earthy and not bitter.

I love strong coffee so always go for a good dark roast. Although I am not a stranger to Gevalia, I have only used French Roast in the past. I then discovered Majestic Roast and decided to try. After the first pack, I am happy to declare this as my new favorite. The flavor is indeed bold but it has more taste to it than just bitterness.As of right now, I am only using ground coffee due to convenience. But I sincerely hope I would upgrade to whole bean in the very near future. I have the feeling that my cup would taste even more devine.Highly recommend if you like good strong coffee.

We had been using a Nespresso coffee machine, and we were very happy with it, but the pods became too expensive for the amount of coffee we drink. We decided to buy a Mr. Coffee instead, so we returned to ground coffee. It was hard to find a comparable brand, but this particular blend, Gevalia's Majestic Roast Bold, is the closest we could find to the same delightful, bold flavor of Nespresso coffee. Only problem is that we can't seem to find this coffee for sale anywhere other than Amazon. Not even on the Gevalia website.
