Luxury and Speed: World's Greatest Cars

Awesome book!

I'm a car guy, so yes, this book hit the spot. However, I really enjoyed the book's appreciation for the older vehicles. Its intention was to show cars that moved the needle, and I think it did. Great pictures, great writing, this book did a great job. My only beef was they didn't show enough Porsches... my favorite car brand. I highly recommend this book to anyone that enjoys cars.

I bought this as a birthday present for a 13 year old boy. He loved it. It's rich with inform as toon and high quality pictures. The price at $20 was reasonable.

This is a great sized coffee table book. It looks beautiful on our bookcase and is a nice size book for the price.

This is an odd sort of book. It covers the period from 1920s through 1950s in great detail, including, it appears, an entry for every Packard ever made. Following the 1950s, it contains a few cars from the 1960s that are mostly early '60s holdovers from the 50s in function and style, and inexplicably skips over three entire decades to land in the 2000s, with a small number of articles that have different layout and style and look like they were pasted in from another book. I gave it 3 stars because the articles were interesting, nonetheless, and the pictures crisp, so it met its bathroom reading requirements. The content juts doesn't follow from the title and cover art. A great book for 1920s through 50s enthusiasts. An interesting enough read for everyone else.
