Must have for Zelda fans!
The Legend of Zelda Manga Set is an absolute treasure for any fan of the iconic video game series. This collection, which includes the various adaptations of Zelda games into manga form, brings a whole new layer of depth and charm to the beloved characters and stories. Akira Himekawa, the talented duo behind the manga, does an incredible job of capturing the magic and adventure of Zelda while offering a unique perspective on the familiar tales. The art style is stunning. Each panel is filled with intricate details, expressive characters, and beautifully illustrated action scenes that stay true to the visual style of the games. Whether it’s the quiet, contemplative moments with Link and Zelda or the fast-paced, action-packed sequences, the manga excels in bringing the world of Zelda to life in a fresh and dynamic way.The stories themselves are engaging and true to the spirit of the games, whether it’s retelling the classic plot of Ocarina of Time, the dark adventure in Majora’s Mask, or the epic journey in Twilight Princess. The manga adds layers to the narrative, offering more character development and emotional depth, especially for secondary characters like Navi and Impa, giving fans a new way to appreciate their favorite Zelda moments. What I really appreciate about this set is how it appeals to both die-hard fans and newcomers to the franchise. It’s a fantastic way to experience the magic of Zelda in a new medium, and it’s perfect for collectors or anyone who wants to revisit these iconic stories in a fresh and exciting format.Overall, the Legend of Zelda Manga Set is a must-have for Zelda fans. Whether you’re already a fan of the games or new to the franchise, the manga offers an enchanting and enriching experience that is both nostalgic and new. Highly recommended!

Almost great…
The books are great, and everything was in good condition, but like most have said, mine did not come with the music chip, which was pretty lame. The contents are still great, but it’s not as advertised.

Excellent compendium
Being able to get all of the volumes together is an excellent draw. Prior to this I had most volumes as second hand singles in anywhere from excellent to crap condition. Having all of them together makes a nice spot on the shelf, I would say the chest is maybe something to keep separate if you plan for it to be on the shelf with other books as the lock is a little obtrusive.

Perfectly surprised
My brother and I are huge Zelda fans, and I wanted to get him something really special for Christmas. I’ve had my eye on this product for a while but had heard a lot of bad reviews. Being that it was such a good looking set, I thought I would take a chance and just give it a purchase. I figured at the worst I could just return it if it wasn’t up to par. I have seen a lot of videos where the sound didn’t work or where the box was damaged etc., but still I took a chance. Let me tell you I was thrilled! Everything was perfect! My brother loved it and I loved watching him open it today. So glad this worked out the way that it did.The sound worked perfectly and was loud enough to hear in a medium sized crowded living room.Product was nicely packaged and looks protected during shipping. There are books for most of the Zelda games, but I do remember reading somewhere that this is not a complete set. I would love to know which books are missing so I could complete his set so I’ll have to do some research. This is a great gift for a collector!

Ocarina of Time Book is Missing a Lot of Pages.
Now I'm not going to rant about the book being binded backwards (Like the parents who can't read the warning on the front of the books literally giving you directions on how to read it and explaining why this is.) Nor will I complain about the music player not working because I didn't much care for that feature either way.No, my issue is that the Ocarina of Time Legendary Edition is missing a chunk of the story. Let me preface this by saying that I did not buy this used. I bought it new. The chest came wrapped up in plastic and the music player still had the pull tap stuck inside (Didn't work). I looked at the spine, and the missing pages aren't ripped out. I've added a picture to show. It's not like this is a few pages that would go unnoticed either, I'm talking 40 whole pieces of paper are missing from the binding. That's 80 pages (Counting front and back of the pages) missing. Starting after page 314, ending before 347.In total, this book doesn't have the last bit of chapter 8, it's missing all of chapter 9 (the entire ending), the two bonus stories "Skull Kid and the Mask" part 1 & 2, and cuts into the other bonus story "Rouru of the Watarara" about two pages in.None of the other books are missing content, I've gone in and inspected them carefully, so those are fine. Rather, they have a lot of extra content in the back of those books for people who are interested in the authors, Akira Himekawa, and their process of making these mangas (Very nice.) These books are also in great quality compared to the originals. The pages are bigger than the old ones and there's a few colors pages at the front of each book. I also like that the "Minish Cap" is the one they chose to color at the front, rather than it's paired story "Phantom Hourglass". I'm sure a lot of long time fans of the series would agree that Minish is better in comparison, but that's just a silly opinion. In the pictures above I've also included what the next page is supposed to look like, (I have the older version from when I was a kid.) I'm not entirely sure if this is a common thing that all of the boxes have since nobody else seems to have left a review on it. It is a tricky thing to miss if you haven't read the series before or just wanted the books for the decor. I implore other buyers of the books to check on this. Again, cuts after page 314, resumes before page 347 (Though the next numbered page reads 352, just count backwards). If I had to hypothesize why this is, (If anything, why the music box isn't working, but if my missing page problem is common then--) It'd have to be that the prototype of this set had all of the bindings of each book the same size to fit into the box (though there is plenty of room left over for them to include the whole story). And VIZMedia rushed this box set for Christmas. It's listed as being out from October 20, 2020. Right on time for the early holiday shoppers to put it on their wishlist.Other than that, it's a pretty neat thing. I'm not overly picky, and if you catch this set on sale it's a really great deal. The poster is drawn by the artists of the manga and looks cool. I'm looking into getting in contact with VIZMedia and seeing about what they can do to help me get another version of the book with the whole story. It's a great collection and I'd rather not return it because of one little thing going wrong.Hope this helps!

Sound Device Is Nonexistent :/
Post Advertised that the box came with a sound device, I bought it knowing that it at first, doesn't work willing to try to fix it. I dissected the box completely and it doesn't even have any sound device in it. Therefore, I can't fix it. The books and poster are amazing if not for the lack of the sound device this would be a 5 star review.
