PXC550 Earpads, Replacement PXC 550-II Ear Pads Ear Cushion Parts Compatible with Sennheiser PXC550 / PXC 550-II Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones (Black)

First impressions after initial install:Sized and shaped almost identically to the original earpads from Sennheiser. Foam is firmer than original, but that may just be two years of wear on the originals.Noise isolation is not as good as the originals. Still good, but noticeably inferior. I had only one damaged ear cup, so tried just replacing that one. The imbalance of passive noise isolation between the oem and replacement is enough that I will have to replace both, I can already feel a headache coming on from the uneven background noise leaking through.All things considered, I think these ear pads are totally worth it, but we'll have to see if they hold up over time.

It did cost a bit of an effort to replace the old earpads, but once done, I found the new ones good and comfortable.

I am very satisfied. The sound quality is great and they do not cause headaches when a long tie on the ears.

These look the same as the old ear pads. In the included pictures you can see my old pad on the left and new one on the right. The new ones are firmer (probably from being new). I haven't used the new ones extensively but so far I would recommend them.

After installing these Earpads, they didn't last even 3 months. They were handled gently and not used for long periods of time, but they still ripped.

I hesitated before getting these but they totally breathed new life into my favorite headphones.

Very comfortable to wear, work great. Removing the old pads and installing these can be tricky, be careful not to break the plastic retainers on your headphones.
