Impressed....
I just received my boots and have not had a chance to wear them out and about yet. However, I wanted to do an initial review on my reaction to unboxing them. The boots are a higher quality than I imagined. I have owned much more expensive boots (lucchese to be exact) and the ranch road boots I got today are just as good if not more impressive.I was bouncing back and forth between these and tecovas, but these happened to be on sale... so I grabbed them up.My foot slipped in like a glove and the shaft formed to my calf perfectly. The problem I usually have with ariats (my usual riding and barn boots) is the shaft is very wide and when I wear tighter jeans the outline is very apparent. The ranch roads do not have this problem.I will update after I get them broken in, but do yourself a favor and get a pair.

Great boots
Really nice boots. The leather quality is what stands out. Buttery soft but thick leather. Stitching is very good. The leather on the boots are uniform (not dyed unevenly). They are listed as D width but Sarah (owner of Ranch Road Boots) said they are E width. I normally wear 12 EE and these fit perfectly. They also do not have any "cowboy" stitching on the foot/vamp. So for those that do not want something that "screams" cowboy boots, these would work. I highly recommend.

Great Boots!
These are the nicest, most comfortable, and best looking pair of boots I own. They are a dark brown calfskin with MINIMAL adornment. The lack of fancy stitching on the vamp and shaft is just what I was looking for. I own Lucchese Classics, 1883's, and various other vintage pairs, but these appear to be the highest build quality of the bunch. They are super supple and soft, but after around 50 miles of wear so far, they have not stretched beyond a perfect fit.My son bought a pair of Tecovas at the same time I got these, and there was no comparison, really. Tecovas are nice and all but looked and felt like mass produced footwear, where the Ranch Road pair were much closer to what I would expect from a semi-custom pair.Note, I did email the company with a couple of questions prior to purchase, and they were quick to respond with the answers I was looking for. I'm very cool with that!

You get what you pay for
These boots fit like a glove, and after wearing them all day we’re more comfortable than my other boots. Full disclosure, I’m a Silicon Valley tech guy, and rather than show up to clients offices in suede sneakers I prefer a good pair of cowboy boots. These boots have an aura of quality. They arch support, the stitching, the sole and heel construction, and the leather all feel functional and look beautiful.

Beyond Gorgeous!
These boots are gorgeous! If I had custom ordered boots they would look and feel just like these. The quality and craftmanship is outstanding. Comfy right out of the box. Hate to even take them off. As to fit, I wear an 8.5 women's wide. I ordered the 7.5 men's and it's a great fit. Medium heavy boot sock. It's hard finding a quality boot without toe stiching, but this boot has it. Classically beautiful. I would give this boot 10 stars if I could.UPDATE: Been wearing this for a while now and could not be happier. The longer I wear the boot, the better it feels. The quality is just outstanding. Quality boot; quality service. This is a "small batch" business and they take your happiness very seriously. You won't regret your purchase. Love these boots! Can you tell?

Carefully researched. Happy customer.
I’ve sold Men’s dress shoes as a college student 30 years ago. I’ve owned the best: Alan Edmunds, Bruno Magli, etc. and purchased for pure comfort and reliability: Rockport and Josef Seibel. I’m pleased with these Ranch Road boots. I normally wear a 9EE or 9 ½ and sometimes 10D in dress shoes and 10-11 in running shoes. I was torn between ordering the 9 ½ or 10 for these. I went with 10; either would have worked, but with 10s I can easily wear thick socks. As others have mentioned, the leather is very supple—buttery soft. The “break-in” period for these will be minimal. I appreciate the minimalist thread style—it allows them to work more easily as casual or dress (if that makes sense). There isn’t much cushion to these—typical of fine crafted footwear. So even though they’re soft inside, and I can’t inagine getting blisters—I will need to wear them a while for the leather sole and liner to mold to the exact shape of my foot. I can tell this will happen.$375 is a lot for a pair of boots. I expect they will be worth it. I’m happy and would purchase again.

Classy Looking Boots
I had been looking for a new pair of boots when I ran across these and was immediately impressed by there look and design. After checking into them I really liked the story behind them starting with the West Texas orgin by a former Marine who donates some of the profits to help Marines. Read all the information on the boots plus where and how they are made. I have worn boots most of my 75 years starting as a kid and I have boots from different companies from high end to low end.....and I have to say these Rancher Road Boots rank at the top. The finish is flawless and the inside leather is the sofest leather I have ever seen in a boot. This pair will not be the last pair I buy from Rancher Road. My wife liked the boots so much I think she would have taken them if they would have fit her. So Great Job Rancher Road and Sarah....Semper Fi!
