Solid ending
Black Widow continues her search for redemption and to find out who is behind the enigmatic yet ever-present Chaos. Her lawyer/money manager has been shot and is slowly recovering in the hospital. She's been outed as having a very black past by a cable news network. She decides to lay low when she sees even her apartment is covered by news vans. But she won't stay on the sideline for long. She fights her way through the Chaos organization to reach a final conflict with The Prophet, a man possessed (maybe literally) by a vision of a better future. Black Widow doesn't buy it even though he offers her an easy life. This book finishes the storyline for Edmondson. The ending is satisfying, creating an interesting character arc for Black Widow and a solution for the ongoing plot. The art as usual fits the story nicely. It is refreshing to read a book about a female character who isn't treated visually as a sex object. She doesn't even treat herself like a sex object.Recommended.

Great end to the definitive Black Widow run, with some of the best art in comics today
This is the third and final volume of the Nathan Edmondson/Phil Noto run of Black Widow. To avoid spoilers, just some general thoughts. As always, the book is absolutely gorgeous - Phil Noto is one of the best comic artists working right now. The story continues from the previous volume and wraps up in a satisfying way. If you liked the previous volumes, you'll enjoy this one as well. The only downfall: that it's finally coming to an end.If you like this, be sure to check out Edmondson's run on Punisher (which ties into this) and Phil Noto's work on the soon-to-release Chewbacca miniseries.

... few women in comics that would make for a good movie maybe those that say that should sit down ...
when they say that there are few women in comics that would make for a good movie maybe those that say that should sit down with any of the Black Widow story runs that would change their minds. The ending two stories shows what Natasha has to atone for among other sins it's interesting how she does her job without a second thought but now she has regrets that have to be answered. This story run is really good as the others

Secret Wars ruined a great run
I loved the first two volumes of Black Widow, so it’s a shame that a strong run ended with a whimper. The weakness comes from the necessary evil of tying into the Secret Wars crossover event, which is slated to write over the entire Marvel Now universe which has been so good for the solo series.Volume 3 has a promising opening. After Isaiah is hurt, Natasha goes full throttle after Chaos. One could say with a vengeance, even. The action is heavy and continuous right up to the middle of the volume where it fizzles out. Natasha gets the bad guy, sorta, and then it all peters off into existential feel-good territory as Natasha suddenly finds peace. The shadowy organization “Chaos” is left hanging – never fully explored – and the ending is rather abrupt and out of sync with the tone of the series to this point.Overall, Black Widow deserved better for her last days. And so did readers. This doesn’t bode well for the new Marvel Universe, post Secret Wars. Recommended only for the fantastic art and half of a great story.

Gorgeous Art, Mediocre Story
So I thought the first volume was pretty good and the second volume was awesome. The third one didn't really wow me, it was just kinda okay. A little bit of a disappointing end to the story. I wish they had taken more time to look at Black Widow's past. I LOVED the parts in this book where they did that. The rest was just alright. The art remains the best thing about this series. Phil Noto is a god among men and I will look closely for anything with his name attached to it from now on. So-so story, but worth the read for the art alone. Loved it.

Last of the Widow
I have loved this series, however I didn't realise this was going to be the end and halfway through the book I felt slightly uneasy wondering how they were going to continue on with the way the storyline was heading, then I got to the end and realised they weren't. The ending and tying up of 'loose ends' felt a little rushed to me, I'm not sure why Marvel have decided to cancel this series, enough people have been begging for a Black Widow film you'd think they'd realise we're ready to keep spending money on her.I hope Black Widow gets a new series soon. This isn't the best of Edmondson's run, but is definitely worth getting to complete your series
