Awesome Apollo statue bust
Very happy with it. Design Toscano always delivers really good products. The position of the head looks like it’s tilted a little awkwardly when it’s not at face level. Because it’s meant to stand either higher than you or eye level. But once you put it on the table and you look at it from multiple different sides, it’s actually perfect because he’s looking sideways. Generally, the Greek gods were taller than human beings when they were in normal forms. Imposing.Somewhat heavy but that means quality. Very detailed and when light hits a specific way, it gives it a little bit of a realism vibe. Had mine on the floor corner with palm plants for a day, and it works. I did splurge on a Toscano stand for it (Greek column) to get it eye leveled.

Aesthetically Disproportionate
Love the sculpture, but not the right base. Nothing wrong with this matching base except for size proportion. The column is as dominant as the Apollo Belvidere sculpture which gives it too much an industrialized art look. Being that this is a copy of a partial Renaissance copy of a Roman copy of an original Greek bronze, you may like this look. It's not what the Greek proportion of balance was about but definitely was what the Romans were about. Can't tell by the photos, but for me a less large support column (that I have) does not compete with the sculpture. However, I do not have a 200 foot long garden colonade devoted to Apollo to display it in, THAT could make a difference.

Awesome Garden Addition
Apollo is wonderful. We have a large backyard that backs on to a park so I try to keep our yard nice but also expressive. This is great in our garden and looks totally in place among my flowers and herbs. I have another statue from this brand (Hercules) and they make a nice addition to the yard and garden. Heavy-doesn't blow over in the wind. Plan to bring it inside and store in the garage for our harsh midwest winter and bring out again in the Spring. Comes with practical instructions for care, amusing even. It's nice enough quality that if I had the space and decor, this would fit nicely inside. Sadly, I have not noticed Apollo showing his wrath over the chipmunks that share the garden but there's always next year.

Is it Apollo or Aphrodite?
For the price and hassle of returning it, I kept it. But, it's not what I expected from the pics. The torso is definitely male, but the head is totally female in proportions which is kinda weird: the torso head combo. If male, then male all the way, if female, then female all the way. Especially the chin, even for a female, the chin is too way thin to be realistic. Would I have purchased it had I seen it up close first? No.

Archaic Torso of Apollo
We cannot know his legendary head with eyes like ripening fruit. And yet his torso is still suffused with brilliance from inside, like a lamp, in which his gaze, now turned to low, gleams in all its power. Otherwise the curved breast could not dazzle you so, nor could a smile run through the placid hips and thighs to that dark center where procreation flared. Otherwise this stone would seem defaced beneath the translucent cascade of the shoulders and would not glisten like a wild beast's fur: would not, from all the borders of itself, burst like a star: for here there is no place that does not see you. You must change your life.
