I liked the fact that the Tape was easy to work with, created no mess whatsoever, and it worked for my job. I replaced a gas valve for the log lighter on my fireplace and had numerous joints to seal up on the fittings. After finishing, I tested for leaks and found none. I have plenty left over for future uses. Recommend this Tape for others with similar jobs. It might be wise to include some simple instructions for DIYers who haven't used the Tape before.

I figured the listing photo was generic and would receive actual yellow gas tape but its just white teflon. Yes you can use it but its not meant for gas lines according to industry standards. Sending it back and getting the real stuff.

Yellow package, not yellow tape, not for propane or natural gas.

this is not yellow gas tape it is teflon for water tried it anyway wrapped all fittings several times horrible leaks. Beware

The media could not be loaded. I upgraded my gas dryers gas line and added a new inline gas valve. I was able to use this gas connection and gas line specific tape for all my connections and treads. It worked great, just remembering to wrap the tape in the same direction as the treads will tighten and use a couple of wraps, not just one. Doing so, using soapy water and a light and my phone on video zoom, I was not able to detect any leaks. The same results, no leaks, when checking close up with just my eyes and a good light, with soaping water to look for any bubbles. Recommended.
