Great value and helping relieve my pain
I developed posterior tibial tendonitis in my ankle and after wearing a aircast boot for a month, I have been in physical therapy for several months with minimal relief. I have had to stop my neighborhood walks, cycling, and other physical activities. Even driving has been so painful. I have been so frustrated until the PT I work with suggested trying new insoles in my shoes and so out of desperation I decided to try these, as they felt low risk price-wise and the reviews are solid. I have gotten the most relief from these insoles! In a matter of a couple weeks I am finally making progress in physical therapy and the pain has gone down drastically. I have a ways to go, but without these insoles I would have continued to make zero/little progress. At my last doctor's appointment, I showed her the insoles to confirm with her they'd be appropriate for my foot type and injury. She not only approved, but notated the type and brand to refer to other patients. I highly recommend that you follow the instructions for breaking these in, I upped the hour increments over 8 days until I could wear them for 8 hours on the 8th day. Your feet will be a little tender as they adjust but that is normal. Now my feet feel great in them all day. They are best suited for athletic shoes as they are bulky, I've purchased a slim pair from a different brand for dress shoes but will continue to use these and replace as needed.

If this is your first time with this kind of orthotic, ease into it. There is an adjustment period.
I have high arches and suffer from Morton's Neuroma if I wear shoes without proper arch support. My podiatrist recommended an orthotic like this for me, and I purchased ones made by New Balance. I remember when I first got them, that they were a little uncomfortable to walk on (like you have a big rock in your shoe). My doctor said to take it slow at first with this type of orthotic and wear it for a few hours a day. Eventually you get to the point that you do not even realize that they are there (except that your neuroma inflammation no longer rears it's painful , ugly head). I got some new shoes recently, and wanted the same style orthotic. The New Balance one's are great, but they cost more than the shoes. I thought I would give this one a try, and I'm very happy to report that they work well, and appear to be just as good as the much more expensive New Balance orthotic. I've not had them long enough to comment on their durability, but they look to be of very good quality, and at this price point, even if they last 1/3 the time as my other orthotic, I will be money ahead. I noticed that the negative reviews all mention that the "bump" in the middle of the orthotic caused pain. I think that is just a normal part of the acclimation process for most people. If this is your first time with an orthotic like this, gradually build up the time you wear it, and soon you will not even notice the bump. I hope this review helps your decision making.

Great idea bad execution
At first I thought it was a great idea. You get both arch support as well as metatarsal support. The metatarsal support is the noticeable bump towards the center. Like first time users with new arch support insoles it takes about a day to get used to the feeling but once you get acclimated the insole becomes very comfortable. You no longer feel the bump. The metatarsal support bump requires a brief adjustment period just like the arch support insoles. The one major downside and the reason for the 3 stars is the insole is designed to narrow. It was so narrow my sole would overlap and pinch against the sides of the boots. It caused a major blister. I was forced to return them. They were so comfortable initially. If they would only make the insole a bit wider it would perhaps the best insole I’ve ever purchased.

thick sole yet very comfortable in joggers
Purchased for mild planter fasciitis, very comfortable. I'm a size 9.5 womens US, and it fitted in my joggers only, very thick, It did not fit well plus my feet in my Sanita size 41 clogs. Thus great for my walking Nike joggers. :)

Size was smaller. It was supposed to be a 7 1/2 but was short for my shoe, like a 6 1/2.
The fail is the arch is positioned close to the heel, not under the arch of the foot. That makes it unwearable. They’re also smaller than the stated size by a full size probably. If you order, get the next size up and trim it. I ordered a 7 1/2, but it fit like a 6 1/2.The thing I liked is that the quality is as stated but the arch isn’t in the correct position.

Best supports for plantar fasciitis
I went through over 20 supports before I found these! They're comfortable and keep my arch supported but not to the point it hurts! Very durable too! I have had the same pair for over a year and finally decided to buy a new pair! Highly recommend!!

They last about half as long as expensive shoes, so they really cost twice as much...
Not sure why they don't last very long, but since they don't, prepare to buy at least a second pair of these for the same pair of shoes, possibly more. When they form potholes in the soles of your feet, it will be incredibly annoying. Sad, they are comfortable, but I guess they use a formula for planned design failure so it doesn't last long and you have to pay them twice...
