Excellent Jazz Piano Solo Collection
Timeless jazz favourites. Wonderful to play and pianistically arranged. Beautifully spaced and clear notes, printed on crisp white paper. Appealing to pianists and audiences of all ages. Intermediate to late intermediate level.

Wonderful collection of jazz standards
I love this book. It contains pretty much all jazz standards in lovely arrangements. I'd say don't buy this unless you're a good intermediate to advanced pianist as most of the arrangements are quite difficult. But well worth the money!

Good intermediate standards
Nicely done and some decent arrangements. Only major omission is the chords in the notation which for a jazz book is quite a miss - an oversight that could easily be addressed for future editions. I’ve been going through it with a chord chart and a pencil…

Good selection of Jazz standards
I have already worked my way through the F&F “Essential Jazz” collection arranged by Richard Harris. This one has about half a dozen pieces which look identical, and a couple with different arrangements, but loads more to get my teeth into. I really enjoyed the first book and this one looks like more in the same vein. The pieces get harder as you progress through the book but most of them look possible for someone at my intermediate level. Both books lack chords and the short introductory section that a lot of these pieces originally had, but it’s very good value for money at less than £20 for 57 songs (even if I already had a few of them!)
