I love balsamic vinegar if it is a thick variety, which this is. It may be expensive, but I can't imagine not having it on hand for use in cooking, salad dressing, and as a dessert topping on ice cream and fresh fruits. I especially love this on caprese salad as it compliments tomato and basil that I grow for this specific recipe.

I immediately had a salad ready in preparation for this vinegar. It’s silky and viscous! The flavor is smooth, slightly sweet with that nice vinegar punch. I don’t actually know how I can live without this now.

Tastes is superior, rich tasting but subtle. I put it on sandwiches , pasta , use as a finisher . Its better to purchase high quality and use less than cheap non alternatives , good finisher for salad or as a base for salad dressing.
