Soft, did not last, very sad :(
I got the medium tub a while ago and it took my puppy 6 months to finish. I decided to get the large tub for her now and finished it so fast! The cheese was way softer than the last tub we had last.In the picture, it only took her an hour to get the chew that small! And she's not even a super aggressive chewer!! Definitely not worth it. We LOVE chewmeter and for us get a batch like this really sucks! :( I even opt for a better deal just to get this specific one too. I'm sadden it didn't live up to what it's supposed to be.

Cheese-Loving Canines, Your Prayers Have Been Answered!
Chewmeter Yaky Himalayan Cheese Chews are a mouthful in more ways than one. But let's be clear, these aren't just dog chews. Oh no, they're a veritable tour of the Himalayan foothills, only without the need for snow boots and oxygen masks.First off, the texture - it's less of a 'chew' and more of an epic saga that your dog’s teeth will embark upon. ‘Long-lasting’ indeed! My pupper has been working on the same piece since the last season of "Game of Thrones". I'm half expecting him to finish it off when winter finally comes.Stain-free, they said. They weren't kidding. Not a single mark on my pristine white carpets. These chews are like the James Bond of the dog chew world - they come, they entertain, they vanish without a trace. They're protein-rich like a good steak, and I'm pretty sure my pooch is feeling it. He’s been flexing around the house like a canine Schwarzenegger. As for the low odor, it's a marvel. The usual stench that follows dog chews is gone. I can finally invite guests over without fear of them wondering if my house is a secret anchovy processing plant. But, be warned. These chews are not for the faint-hearted. Once your dog gets a taste of these, regular chews will be kicked to the curb. Be prepared for a pooch with refined tastes and Himalayan cheese standards. In a nutshell, the Chewmeter Yaky Himalayan Cheese Chews are a slice of the high life, literally. Long-lasting, mess-free, protein-packed, and pleasantly non-smelly. They're more than just a chew, they're a canine epicurean dream. Bon-appé-cheese-tit, Fido!

Yak chews were in pieces
I had ordered these before and was very pleased with the product. The chews were stacked in the container and all in one piece. They were strong and it took my 30 lb dog several days to finish one. I placed a "reorder" of the same. I was very disappointed in the second shipment. For starters the container seemed lighter than 2 1/2 lbs so I put it in my kitchen scale. It was only 1 lb 15 oz. Then when I opened the container there was a zippered bag inside. There was no bag in my first order. I opened the bag and in it contained a bunch of broken jagged pieces. There were only 2 bones that weren't broken. I picked up those bones and one literally broke in pieces in my hand. I also noticed the centers of these bones were hollow. These chews should be solid all the way through. These pieces are so small and jagged that my dog could choke on them. Not happy with this order.

Not as pictured, but OK
Yak chews are fine, just as pictured there. However the container I was disappointed in. It shows it’s a resealable bucket but it’s only a plastic wrap on top you have to puncture to open. Not resealable at all.

These are the best for your aggressive chewer
We got a year old rescue dog and she was chewing up anything she could get her paws on. We tried the benebones which she liked but she would chew them until the ends would get sharp with little points on them, plus they are really just too hard. I saw the yak chews and was hesitant to try them because they are so expensive! But let me tell you they are worth every penny. Not only does my dog absolutely love them but each one lasts for many days of aggressive chewing. They really keep her calm and give her something to do when she's bored. I am so glad I found the yak chews, I don't know what I would have done for her chewing needs otherwise. Also they don't get all gooey and gross as she chews on it like some dog chews do. They stay just the way they started, they just shrink in size. Do yourself a favor and invest in some yak chews for your dog. Just try to buy the least expensive ones.

What happened to my Yak bones
These were recommended by our local vet. #1.. Price went up. #2 Quality went down. Honestly my mini poodle almost just got choked. The center of these are much more hollow. I bought for a larger dog too.

Huge price increase and issues with quality
We have ordered these multiple times for our dog. The first few batches were fine and lasted a long time. Then we got a batch that looked odd. They were bulging in the middle but still felt hard. We gave one to our dog, and shortly after she started chewing on it, it made a very loud popping sound that scared the crap out of my dog and my wife. It turned out that they were full of air in the middle. I had to drill holes in all of the chews to keep them from popping. We reached out to the company to let them know but never received a response. Now, they appear to be price gouging as the price has gone from $40 to $140. That is a ridiculous increase, and we will not be buying these again.
